Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
The official one? Just start NBA 2k10 and go to NBA Today - assuming the servers are up (they were down for some time yesterday) it will download automatically.
If you haven't gone online yet you'll need to register too (also done in-game).Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
Yeah the official one. I figured thats how it was done but I keep getting "can't find realm servers" or similar. I take it that means the servers are down?Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
Does anyone here use a Logitech Dual Action gamepad to play 2K10? Does it work well? My gamepad is broken and I might need a new one. I'm leaning towards the Logitech one, but I got some bad review about it. Still interested to know if it works well for you guys, and also what other gamepads are recommended. My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASICComment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
Yep, that's what I was getting last night - it's down. Apparently the PC servers share the same issues as the console ones.Comment

I am using a Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8GHz, 4GB Ram and a GeForce 9400 GT how does that compare to the bare minimum you listed?Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
You won't be able to play with more than 10 frames a second.
/sarcasm
Seriously, you should be able to play at medium/lower-end of high settings. Worst part is your graphics card, and it is NOT terrible. It's just designed for watching movies, not gaming, but it can do a ok job.
45+ fps at medium, minimum.Comment

Does anybody know what the keyboard controls are for defense on the PC edition of 2K10? The manual just shows the keyboard controls for offense.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
I have the pc version of the game and yesterday I was playing the 2nd season of my association with the Bulls and I noticed there are still pre-game rituals. I played against Cleveland, Boston, Lakers and they all did their rituals. I guess this is not a glitch for the pc version but only console.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
wow this online mode is absolutely horrendous. I've been able to actually start a game once and it was terribly laggy.
Otherwise, I can't even get to the online lobby. Either it gives me a connection error or a server is full message.
The gameplay itself is great, but these games always feel so rushed.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
Thanks to anyone who answered my question about the Logitech Dual Action Gamepad. So I went to Best Buy today after work, and saw 2 Saitek gamepads and the Logitech one. One of the Saiteks only had 2 triggers (instead of 4) so I gave it up. The other looked cool - with more buttons for FPS and stuff, but it was wireless and I don't like using batteries and stuff. Which left me with the Logitech one - and I bought it. It's great, responsiveness is very good. The only thing that bugs me is that the sticks are so soft - I push them down (like, for exapmple, to shoot) and accidently push it sideways a bit. But I guess I'll get used to it. My older gameplad had a bit harder sticks but overall was crappy.
Anyway, I'm happy with the gamepad I bought. My Specs:
