I had posted the Lakers/Cavs and Lakers Intro vids earlier and I really think 2K has lost a customer in me, this year. I love what Live 10 has done in that demo and can't get my hands on the retail version. I can't even go back to the DC, right now, and I had fun with that but I will give the 2K10 a go if and when it drops but no dough.
Just cuz you pour syrup on ish....

the audio was a nice improvement. With that said the game and gameplay is just okay, looks like 2K9.5. They just seem to be playing it safe to me I dunno. I did notice to many long passes not being keyed on by the D, but i don't know what level this was played on.

Yeah I'm not feeling it so far with these vids.

Wasn't impressed at all, especially how the Lakers ran their offense.

One thing Live did great this year is add signature DRIBBLING moves and crossovers - players in Live actually MOVE like themselves - looking at these 2k10 vids, all the players pretty much dribble the same and like I said there are no size-up moves or one-on-one moves AT ALL. 2k completely lacks the 1-on-1 game. 1-on-1 play is a big part of nba basketball, but 2k has completely ignored it for years.

You do realize that the two guys playing didn't use isomotion or post moves or anything....

I am actually a 2k guy and have played 2k exclusively until this year, but I have grown tired of many of 2k's flaws and their refusal to add control and fix their weaknesses. I have seen Live add things that 2k should've added years ago, and Live has surpassed 2k in some areas at this point (mostly dribbling control).

These 2k videos just look so stale and sluggish compared to what I've seen of Live. And this is coming from a 2k guy. I am just being honest. Overall 2k just feels very slow and sluggish to me - the animations are too slow and unresponsive. The nba is full of amazing athletes with lightning speed, but I wouldn't know it by watching 2k - they all move like they're old geezers and every just looks unresponsive.

You do have dribbling control in 2k and players do have their own dribbling moves right down to the crossover. The 1 on 1 game will be there. The Cavs user chose not to use the size-up or 1 on 1 moves.

                The Lakers were computer controlled.

Now that the nitpickers are about... point BEING... there is isomotion, sizeup, and post moves that you didn't see and have been in the game for YEARS.

Well I absolutely loved the freak'n commentary and overall presentation is beautiful! But the gameplay is terrible to me, it's 2k9.5 or should I say 2k9 with draft combine speed. And LB23 looks like he 60 years old, not digging the faces at all and Kobe still looks bad as well.

Overall the game just looks stale and looks like they've done nothing new - I think they got too comfortable and Live has added all of the things that 2k should've thought of.

Just ridiculous. What ISO moves are you looking for from DEREK FISHER!!!! When was the last time you seen him cross someone over, his whole thin is protecting the ball and I saw him do that. Granted there were some things here and there that didn't flow but most of that was on the user's end. For the most part the CPU played very smart.

I am so sick of people talking about being able to do all these dribble moves like this is f'in And 1. In the NBA you don't see crossover non stop, people use speed and a 1st step to get by defenders and I see that all the time in the Combine and this gameplay wasn't long enough nor did it posses the people to show that particular part of the game off.

If you think Live is a better game this year then you are crazy, Live feels a little better but is not even close to 2K in anyway, unless of course you are looking to dribble the whole game....RIDICULOUS, this is the damn NBA, not streetball.

If you liked NBA2k9 but had some issues with the game, you will probably love 2k10. If you are tired of 2k basketball and hoping for a change from 2k9, you wont be happy. The game plays like a much improved, better polished and better looking version of NBA2k9.
look guys this is from 9/11 if you were in the last category then why are you still here? 2k10 obviously isnt for you

You know prolyfic...I seconded you..im tired of all this people flapping their mouth talking about ridiculous things. They are going to buy this game anyways, Live is far behind, they're not even 5 years close to 2K when it comes to graphics and small details. I know that when I play 2k10, it would be much much much different than 2K9. I mean MUCH BETTER. Live fans, please keep it on the down low because 2K will suck the life out of live. Ha Ha Peace!

Ugh. I buy this game every year because Live is trash, but Im getting sick of this gameplay. Its the exact same thing over and over. Someone point me to ONE new animation or gameplay element or anything. Its not there. What the hell does 2k do with there basketball team .. nothing has changed for 2 years.

The ONLY thing about those videos that made me realize it wasnt 2K9 was the scoreboard location. Money well spent.
