Brendan Haywood is one of the most important players on the Wizards, but 2K has him ranked as a 60...dead last on the team. WTF?

lol at Hasheem having a ****ty rating, I think he will be a huge bust.
I didnt think that 2k would rate Tony Douglas higher than Jordan Hill.

Thanks Steve for taking the time. I still don't get why thy keep the overall rating within the game when clearly it is useless. Ratings look good for the most part. Rookies are rated a bit high for not playing a game against veterans. Summer league is summer league. Wonder what the Nog is feeling about this.......

Oh, why not just do the cartoon avatar instead of the black silhouette??

I'd be interested in seeing the breakdowns of player ratings. Rondo is an 87 overall, but I would assume his jump shooting and 3 pt shooting ratings are pretty terrible. If that is the case, then it is fine. But if the NBA2k10 production team decided to augment his game at the expense of realism to make his rating better, I will be very dissapointed.

before we all start crying about the ratings, let's keep in mind that ratings are NOT subjective this year. they are derived from 82games.com.

MEANING that overalls are taking into acount things like defense, rebounding, turnovers & far more minute things than that according to these new ratings & the scale.

example: Dirk being a 83 overall while Garnett & Duncan are much higher overall are results of rebounding & defense which Dirk does not match them in. sure he's a scoring machine & im sure with those offensive ratings & tendencies, it will translate in-game.

Actually ratings are still subjective ROnyell. Tendencies are from 82games

I think the shooting ratings don't affect the overall very much. I see a few people who will be getting big boosts by December though.

If the players play like themselves, I have no problem with the ratings. It's obvious that the superstar players are in the 90's. Just by skimming the ratings, there's about 4 or 5 of those players.

off the top of my head.

All-Stars are in the 80's, and great players are in the 70's. Seems consistent enough because in previous games, offensive players would have some really high ratings in contrast to a well rounded player.
