I have shooting sliders in effect on All-Star and that's about it. Not seeing any problems with PIP or %'s.

That's great news Pared, can't wait to see this games with a good set of sliders and updated tendencies etc.

I still foresee a problem, however, with people complaining about the numbers. You definitely have to play defense, sometimes for your own teammates.

But yes, minor slider changes really up the enjoyment of the game on All-Star... No tendency changes or anything else.

cool i hate muckin about with the sliders and 2k has A LOT of sliders...

which is not a bad thing. It´s strange how it has gone from "i want to controll all 5 guys and influence how the game is played" to "I want to controll 1 guy and let the CPU handle the rest" .
The same with other sports games.

Yeah, that sounds real promising.

With my own set of sliders, rosters, tendencies and general tweaking I was able to create a really enjoyable experience on all-star on 2k9, hopefully i'll be able to do an even better job for 2k10.

short question : Do players still frequently injure themselve going for rebounds after a FT ? Seriously, 50% of the injuries hapened in that situation for me in 2K9 to the point where i wouldn´t go after FT rebounds with my Star SF anymore

I'd be very careful with the tweaking. I tried doing that and some things seem to mess up others. I don't think the sliders are cut and dry with how the AI works.

I dropped Alley Oops to 0 and the CPU started feeding everything in the paint.

Just a heads up...

hmm...damn sounds like a balancing act is needed...based on the demo i think playing center and getting the guy in position is the way to go to defending alleys...

They are faster but I still don't think they are run as well as they should be. Plus the play art breaks at times and you're left wondering what should happen next.

The only saving grace is the CPU doesn't just stop; they keep looking for shots/space/openings.

Pared, which sliders did you tweak exactly? And how much did you lower them? I'm especially curious about the alley-oop slider, as you mentioned bringing it to 0 makes the CPU dominate the PIP. Did you bring it back up to its default or did you find a happy medium between 0 and 50?
