Ray, can you add files to that specific folder? If reverb and normalized audio is needed, someone can edit that for all songs and THEN reshare, i suppose.
it doesnt hurt to just have mp3s in preparation for further editing.

every song i suggested has a youtube link. would you like for me to compile that list and get them to you.

just to get things really going, you could even start finding youtube videos of whats been suggested since post #1 and having numerous mp3s. I can help if need be finding the youtube links. Let me know.. I'm still working on the minnesota t-wolves game night music list. That organization uses atleast 40 songs it appears.

im really excited but im taking a wait and see approach. if these sound bit events replace whats already in the game, i may have to think this one out

From what I hear that's the only way. You can stream audio via WMP 11 or TVersity, but in this case it's probably much better just to rip the stuff.

Also any word on whether there's more to events than just players? Are there sounds for specific situations? Also you may want to try and trade a player and see what that does to the menu. It seems like that would wreak havoc on things.

There's no way you're going to find that. Just get the Elton John song and splice the MP3.

No it's just the players' name, there's no sub-menu or anything. I'm assuming the sound will play when the player scores. That seems to be the only logical explanation.

What other events are player specific? Only one I could think of was freethrows (even then, I dunno what player has their own free throw sound, usually the entire team shares the sound).

What I was getting at is that the header for that menu said events. I was just hoping that in addition to players being events maybe specific game situations were also events. Still I'm pretty sure it'll just play some sound when that player scores, but I'm still curious to see if the game handles trades properly.

mo, do you have music that is shared with your 360 from your computer?

You can stream music from your pc over. And using either the in game menu, or even WMP, you can create your own playlists.

there is essentially ZERO ripping involved with this new system.

the question remains if this method actually works or if you need to actually rip them the traditional way

Nope they play Tony Yayo's So Seductive. They play Mystikal when Caron scores and Aint I when Jamison scores.
