Cant get player sounds to work in my previously started franchise. Works outside of it but cant get it to play when Howard scores. Any ideas?

Won't work. It's hard coded INTO the franchise now.

Nothing you can do but re-start your 'chise.

the music to real thing with kids sing it?

I was looking for the sounds for last night bulls vs cavs game with what tnt uses but think its the just the normal tnt theme....

also noticed you can add music sound tracks for players on created teams.. i made the 92 dream team and showed all in the playlist...

Wow thats ****ing horrible. So lets say I restart my franchise, add all the player sounds I have now and a month later if I find out that everytime Nash scores they play "Oh Canada"....I have to restart my franchise just to have that play in my chise?

Yup. All those settings get imported in and saved in your franchise file separately, otherwise if Nash got traded to Toronto in real life, and you set up that sound, but in your Association he's in say... New York, they don't conflict.

Your only option would be to save franchise specific playlists and change things that way. But it gets really convoluted when you add in player sounds.

Thanks Pared. Thats horrible implementation imo. If you have it set up by player, it should follow that player whether its in your franchise or in exhibition mode.

No way I'm restarting my franchise. Too many shoe edits, ratings edits and accessory edits to redo. Especially since I cant add songs to new players.

Looks like the same thing applies for the POG, Highlight and Halftime playlists too. No ESPN music for me I guess.

To summarize: Everything works and you don't have to restart your association. However, player specific songs you will have to restart your association for them to work? Everything else is good. One thing people should remember, individual songs you want put in are saved as playlists. So if you want to switch a song in the middle of your franchise, just delete the current song in that playlist and just load in the one you want. Don't delete the playlist entirely, just the song within. Obviously, if you want two songs playing instead of just one or the other just load in the new song.

This is sweet! Finally got my TNT theme going. Feels like a real broadcast. I haven't even noticed the gameplay lol. This was a big thing for me and I'm happy they fixed it.

But I understand your sentiment. It needs to be specific to your association as well. Considering it seems like the feature just barely made it in, I'm sure there's much more they will do with it next year.

I think we are getting tripped up with Canada reference. Howard will have Superman played after he scores whereever he plays. So if he is traded to Charlotte in real life but is still in Orlando in my franchise...I want it to play everywhere.

I agree that it barely made it in. Just dissapointed I wont be able to use it to its full extent.

It works for Howard, but for example, if DStevenson ended up in NY, and they played some NY based song for him, you set it, then he gets traded... you're stuck hearing that no matter where he plays.

They just need to have it keep track of those things in each mode.

I dont think thats right. Just change the contents of said playlist name and you are fine. the problem is ADDING playlists to names and events after franchise has startered. but if you set everything up to have a playlist, even a empty playlist name. you open yourself to editing countless times.

edit: small test here.

set a dwight howard playlist with one song in it. superman theme.
i go to association mode, trade him to LAL. and he still has that song. I then, IN game, go to my pc open up the playlist, edit out that song in place of a ben wallace gong, and almost instantly, I hear a new player song. Once that playlist is attached to any event, you are good to edit anything.. Ill try now using my harddrive and its playlists

Thats it exactly. I never attached the players or the highlight/POG playlists to anything before playing my franchise.
