Dunno if anyone saw my other post, but to solve the home/away walk up music problem, I just put them in the home/away chant section instead.

And yes i also look Foward to timeouts haha to the poster who said that.

Thats what I realized I may have to do.

I caught this yesterday and spent another night trimming Some of the walk up music down to 8-12 seconds then set it to the chant section and it's worked great for me. I did it diff tho I have 10 diff walk up sound playlists and distributed them throughout the league so 3 teams each share a walkup play list. And I made all long into 1 playlist and gave it to every team. But with 50 or whatever songs there's still a lot of variety.

Is it possible home/away chants are taking precedence over the home/away upcourt songs?

maybe thats why im seeing no issue here. from the very beginning, I assigned the HOMEUP playlist to Chant Team, and the AWAYUP playlist to Chant Team.

so when i do the assignments

TIPOFF playlist------ TIPOFF event
LONG playlist------ LONG event
Home playlist----- HOMEup court
Away playlist----- AWAYup court
Home playlist----- Chant Defense
Away playlist----- Chant Team

or like the download I just linked to I have it set as:
ARCO ARENA
Kings TIPOFF playlist------ TIPOFF event
Kings LONG playlist------ LONG event
Kings Home playlist----- HOMEup court
Kings Away playlist----- AWAYup court
Kings Home playlist----- Chant Defense
Kings Away playlist----- Chant Team

at one point I may need to put both the home and away playlists for the chant team/chant defense. Having no DE-FENSE chants in my game, I have the liberty to set it up this way where homeup can be used for chant defense.

Any feedback on that media share file/folder download would be appreciated. atleast let me know if it works

I made an error on my playlists for those that may have downloaded it within the past 2 hours. My apologies..

There is a fix to it that would take 5 minutes but many may just want to wait as I am uploading it again with the fix.

THE FIX:
So youve placed the NBA folder in the place that it needs to be. The fix is to create a new folder entitled "My Playlists". Place it in the same location that the core NBA folder is in. you may already have a folder entitled that. You will now have to go into each teams (EXCEPT 76ers) folders and pick out only TWO of the 4 playlists. MOVE ___homec and ____awayt out of each teams folder and out of where the team folders are. now Drag them into My Playlists folder... You should have 58 playlists in this folder when its all said and done.. Copying the playlists wont work. you need to MOVE them out of the team folders and into the new My Playlist folder.

sorry about that. Its weird because when you open them up right now, you get an windows file location error, but the location is RIGHT. I messed up with saving the playlists for homec and awayt in one folder then trying to condense them into their team folders... PLAYLIST location is key on your computer.

EDIT: One exception.. 76ers- You need the homec to GO to the playlist folder and the 76erawayt needs to go or STAY back in the 76er team folder.. so youll have 59 playlists in the My Playlist folder when its all done.... Everything else should be just fine.

I know someone had made this comment earlier and I was thinking the same thing. But wouldnt it be easier to get "actual arena" sounds from Live? How hard could it be?? Im thinking all you would need to do is record some gameplay from different Arenas, turn off the commentary in Live and hold the ball for the 24 sec. That way you could capture the sounds in their entirety. Or just cut and paste some sound effects that they have. Not sure how some people feel about that, me personally I have both games so EA got their money from me anyways, lol. If I had the software to do it I would. Instead of using these made up ones that are in this file(NY organ specifically), cus the ones that are made up are no better than the ones 2k has already IMO. Its either that or wait till the season starts and rip it from real games...(but then there's gonna be commentary from the sound clips in most cases) I say rip some sounds from Live and make it do what it do! lol..... What do you guys think about that?

Why is all this making me look like such a jackass ha haha I downloaded the file yesterday and all the music under recently added on media player it's just a bunch of random files. If I understand you right u have a new download with 58 playlists you made up already??!?!?! Where is the link for that if that is right you my man are freaking awesome and just made this game that much better...Who knew music on a video game would be so wacky baaa haaa haaaa

No, because they aren't 100% correct in Live, either.

Taking recordings from REAL games yourself, or using the proper audio is a much better solution, something that a few are trying to accomplish here.

Yeah you're right, some of them arent correct (like some of the ones they play on offense) but i was thinking more so on the specific "defensive chants".....and if you wanted to capture a more hostile chant you could just change it to Playoff or Finals atmosphere in Live and turn off the commentary. Maybe I dont understand how it would be better from a actual game....im envisioning it will sound kinda far away and not as clear because your sitting next to people that will be loud and take away from the recording quality. I think that you would not get that crisp clear sound that you could capture in Live's.... I'm, probably wrong though....I dont have a cpu at home and wouldnt know the 1st thing about going to do this, lol I was hoping someone did though...
