Mostly in O & D transitions really, to keep from using all of it. The only thing I hope 2K did is allow faster players to run faster than slower players without turbo.

Not all players fatigue at the same degree.

          Whathasn´t been said :

Should use more when controlling a 10-15 mpg guy as to when controlling a starter or even your star player.
In terms of PG play you can very well bring the ball up the floor faster with your backup PG (if he has the abilities) in an attempt to change the games tempo.

Or in my player mode i guess early on in your career you depend on hustle plays, so make sure you get up and down the court fast. You´re playing only 10 minutes a game, no need to hold back. However, later in your career you have to pick your spots.

However to respond I agree, but what I want to see is aggressiveness in rectifying the exploits as they arise. i.e. dropping more than one patch

The turbo meter is a good concept, hopefully it works, but there is no excuse to do what they did last year and just let glitches like the timeout glitch go unfixed

use turbo or not... either way, i think stamina is out of wack this yr. especially the user controlled team's cpu players. i play using the cavs, and im controlling varejao or shaq most of the time, and half way thru the first quarter lebron has already lost 2-3 bars of stamina, and i barely even used him.. in real life, lebron usually plays the whole 1st quarter.. dont think thats gna be possible this yr.

I only use speed when I have open court. I usually walk/jog everywhere else.

Re: When You Should/Shouldn't Use Turbo.

I use it on fastbreaks, when I have an open lane and want to get to the hoop, when out of position of defense trying to recover, especially against faster defenders or when I was helping off of my man, and trying to outjump people for rebounds. It seems using the turbo makes you gather for a bigger jump. Also, when locked up with someone either in the key wanting to avoid 3 seconds or anywhere else just wanting to change position while you are on offense and don't have the ball tapping the turbo button will give you animations to get out of the engagement.

After an effective ISO move with a PG/SG/SF, tapping the turbo is key to a wide open jumper or getting to the hole, blowing past your defender with a quick first step...

Fast breaks - I only turbo enough to keep me ahead of the pack.

Really?!?!?!!?......I found that I had to turn the stamina slider down so that players did fatigue a little more. I have played games and sometimes I have seen Shaq play lots of minutes and not even seem tired. I have my stamina slider set to 45...it gives the game a little more realism.

Dont tell me you are one of those guys that holds the turbo button for everything are you?

Nah, like i said, the players im controllin are fine but my teammates which the cpu controls are usually really tired. Good example being Lebron.
