The patch might be for a while. I just bought DC tonight cuz I cannot play my Association cuz of the broken gameplay. My Player should keep me happy until they fixed the gameplay of NBA 2K10.

This is just great...I was looking forward to My Player mode and then I found out I couldnt change this. Im really surprised this got past testers. You can change your and sim quarter length in Assso. but not here, weird. Plus the framerate issues on both ends of the court, awesome. Oh well, here goes waiting for a miracle patch, im not spending more money just because they didnt finish the game.

There isn´t a possibility to sim games or change the season length in my player either, is there ?

82 game season isn´t cut out for a my player mode, plain and simple.
Soccer has about 35-45 (and is played with real results in about 15 minutes per game), Football has 20-24 games with preseason and playoffs.

Propably not going to touch my player as i wouldn´t get much of a progression anyway having to participate in all 82 games. Might fly by when you are a bench player, but as a starter ?

Haha, well this certainly makes me feel better about buying the Draft Combine - even if this probably isn't "working as intended".

I have notice something. The highest age your player can go in the creation mode is 29. I hope this mode last more than 10 seasons. I mean if it is only 10 seasons, you just hit your prime and poofff, the game force you to retire.

It doesnt work.
I changed the settings and saved it but its still 5 minutes.

Nope not how it goes. read the things 2k posted about my player. You are started to offer the option to retire in about your mid 30s. One question i havent found the answer to is if you're drafted in the first round can you still get cut since in the real world your guaranteed a contract if your drafted in the first round

Will people be allowed to download the Draft Combine even after tommorrow when the full game is released?

I'm thinking of downloading it to be able to change quarter minutes for My Player but I want to wait at least a day or two to see if they just patch it and allow all users to do it whether they had created their guy with DC or not.

So does anyone know? Is today the last day we can download draft combine?

EDIT: If you didn't buy the DC, you MUST change quarter length before you create your myplayer

Hm are you sure about that part? People on the official 2k forums are saying if your player isn't imported from DC it's impossible to change quarter length... Don't see how that is possible but that is what they are saying. Huge deal-breaker for PC players if it's true.

until then i can wait a few weeks and play association, which looks to be the total and utter bomb.

Any official word on this? I'm worried they will patch out the ability to change quarters (for DC imports) rather than patching it in for everyone else. It'd put my mind at ease to know for sure that this won't be the case.
