Re: The Association - What do you want to know?

Ok I have been reading alot upon the association and such and just need clairification...

Is the Summer League is only in My Player Mode?

When you scout Rookies they have the same black and white
    jerseys?

I just ask those 2 question because those would really add to association. having the practice uniforms and all would be just wonderful

hope all is well and hope to hear an answer soon...Thanks again for your time and patience

So Free Agency is broken again ? Apparently there´s still scrubs signing 1 year contracts substantially above the league minimum, which should not be the case no matter how you slice it and with the ensuing snow ball effect decent and good players ask for way too much money which really was a problem last season as more and more good players ended up staying Free Agents ...

I am curious about the created prospects as well:

Are they again so unbalanced ? (90 rated PGs that can´t score or handle the ball, 90 rated centers not doing anything, overall a lot of players highly rated yet not producing offensively due to having a very low shot tendency)

I may be wrong but didn't 2k say in an article that basically in order for the player to get better through d-league, you have to play the games? They joked that there's no point sending them to d-league for him to sit on the bench, so by you playing d-league games, you make sure he's playing and doing good things.

Mo, as soon as you enter the playoffs, does the regular season standings get disabled like last year?

                  SimBaller's post (#132): http://www.operationsports.com/forum...t-know-14.html

D-League progression is fine, so before you go calling for a patch (without ever playing it mind you), consider these two things:

                  1) Progression happens in the offseason.
                  2) Sending any ole player down doesn't mean he will get better. The player needs to have potential, or more specifically, a ceiling he can reach. This ceiling can only be reached by getting him minutes (whether they be in the NBA or the D-League). Just because you send a player down to the D-League doesn't mean he automatically pops up next year rated 2-5 points higher. That would be silly.

Yeah man people always complain when they don't get some type of "cheat". Sending a bum down to the D-league, which lets be honest most D-league players are bums, shouldn't advance the guy more than 2-3 points at the most. One minute people cry about progression being too good, then get scared when it's toned down or done right.

Question: Will players who are injured in real life actually be injured after roster updates or will they simply be put at the bottom of the depth chart like last year? I apologize if you are unable to answer this question atm.

what are the ratings range of generated rookies?
if i remember the screenshots correctly there are a couple of rookies rated 80 & above.. i think they're too high..

Do you see any difference in player progression this year?

Just curious as that's been mentioned as one of their new features.

For example, Ben Gordon would become a free agent and the New York Knicks would be over the cap but somehow offer him a contract worth 10 or 11 million and sign him. Never understood how this happened but it always did and this is just one example. Could you check and see if this is still the case. Its kinda unfair if you can't sign a free agent when your over the cap but the cpu teams can. Thanks in advance.
I wonder what kind of problem would be presented if you DID control all-30, and then could not take advantage of the above scenario that the CPU-controlled teams would do...?

Controlling all 30 teams would allow you to hire/fire coaches, but I don't know what this would mean for the above post that mk1212 states.

I am not talking about Association Mode. I am speaking from the main menu. They didn't update coaches with ROster Updates last year. There was NO WAY for us to do it ourselves. So we were forced to have a game with old coaches.
                            Concrete evidence/videos please

I have a very important question. In 2k9 the generated rookies shooting tendencies were all messed up. There could be a shooting guard rated 80 with 90 potential but shot tendency is 51. So if he became a 90 overall he still would average like 10 points because his shot tendency did not increase. Did they fix rookies shooting tendencies?
