For what it's worth to the MD/DC folks, I did some calling around to spots, and the best I got was from a couple of stores saying they would know more about when they were getting the games in on Thursday. Not that they were getting them on Thursday, but that they'd know when on Thursday. I haven't been able to get 2K early since moving down here, but I'm keeping the faith this year!

I called the guy I deal with and he said it's about 50/50 for Thursday, a real good chance Friday and 100% for Monday.

Anyone who I hooked up with Madden and NHL early knows I'm not BS'ing. I'll let you guys know what's up Thursday.

Your best bet is to call around to the 15 FYE's in the MD/DC/VA area on Friday. They always get them early and there is always one who well sell them early. The next bet is the mom and pops but they usually dont get them until Sat or Mon.

i recall when gears of war 2 came out, a bunch of 7-11's put them on the shelves when they received them, which was a couple days early. i wonder if they're better about that now or they still don't give a damn. i guess it would still boil down to when they receive them. and at that point, there are a handful of stores also willing to sell the moment they're received. i think the biggest hurdle here is figuring out when the distributor sends them out? and historically with this franchise, it isn't until friday or (more likely) monday.
