Sorry guys it's looking like Monday. My buddy stopped by after his class and they told him it didn't come in.

Guess we got unlucky in Toronto this year! Maybe some places will have it tomorrow.

Guys please be careful to who you give the mom and pop info to. Gamestop got really pissed about the release date violation of madden from mom and pops. I was just told distributors are really scared to give them the game early because of fees and penalties associated with the violation. I got the game for the PS3 by the way, if you don't know them don't share the info. He told me the next madden will be kept under tight seal.

My bad, forgot the secrecy. Stores I listed though have no qualms about selling it early, openly stating so. I had one spot tell me they have a copy that if I had a modded 360 could come in and copy.

socal update: the jawn in LB just told me maybe it'll be in their shipment tonight. call back at 7.

(fyi, i say "the jawn" in protest to the overuse of "the spot". props to philly for the slang)

p.s. the other piece in santa ana said "not yet", but i failed to ask "if not yet, when?" if someone wants to call them and dig for more intel, by all means.

I'm in Los Angeles and picked it up only one distributor released the game and my mom and pop only had a limited # because of that.

Backbreaker....can you give us some info on the framerate issue since you got the PS3 version ...... is it very noticable on the PS3 as well ??? Also how "crisp" are the graphics....thanks man.

good call backbreaker. i think i know the place(s) you're talking about. inglewood's a bit far. dude said he had 11 360 copies left. about 45 minutes from where i work in anaheim. maybe this is blasphemy on this thread, but i just might let that fish go. MAYBE the LB jawn will get blessed this evening.

I hear ya. I've gone out to the LB & Inglewood locations in the past. Not today. I just don't feel like dealing with it. I have a swap meet out in the I.E. that may have it at 4. They are supposed to call me back.
