Just called the guy I deal with in the GTA. He says that they will have it Monday. He mentioned that there's been people that have openly stated that they sell the game early on forums (not this one) and their distributor is cracking down on them now.

This is bad news for future releases too. Sorry guys.

He said that like 2 years ago. They always say that but keep on selling. They have to, that's their competitive advantage over Bestbuy, Walmart, etc.

I don't blame them for breaking street dates. Family business' do what they got to do.

I picked my copy up this morning. The video game store in the coliseum in Queens and other stores have it now.

This thread really sucks now. All we have is about 10,000 Game Stops, who will not violate the street date unless you're friends with the manager.

I feel you. It's nothing but chains and used game stores in Seattle.

I called up an EB Games located 45 minutes away from where I live, and the guy told me, "Yes I have the game. $69 man."

So, I jumped in my car, drove 45 minutes to EB Games, just to hear the same guy tell me, "Sorry man. It was in the computer, but the street date is October 6. I can't sell it to you or we will get fined. Honest mistake."

Day ruined.
