I saw some videos and when it's tip-off the camera angle seems very low for me. And it's hard to see the players jumping becuase of all players around. Do you guys find it interrupting, or it's not an issue?

Another observation...
For 2K to be the "lead" sim title, I find the strategic areas of the game lacking a bit. There is little rhyme or reason to formulating a particular defense to defend against a certain team.
The reward system is just not there.
It seems as though, no matter how solid you play on the defensive end, the computer AI allows a play that defeats logic.
Player tendencies should factor more into the defensive strategy but I just don;t feel like that's happening....Comment

I disagree. I've been able to stop the cpu from scoring the ways it is TRYING to score. If you stay tight on Lewis and Carter that makes the main option getting the ball to Dwight and you can stop that by doubling him in the paint or getting good help D from Gasol.

The Commish, THE voice of video games, likes the limitation of turbo in 2K10.
Just watched a few CPU vs CPU games and they looked good with the star players getting the ball when it mattered. For example, down two with 4.5 seconds remaining the Lakers gave the ball to Kobe who hit the 3. Lakers Win!
Is there a way to sub players? The CPU subs players.
Maybe later I'll stream some games.J/K

Well it looks like it is going to be improved, but very much like 2k9. The NBA today looks good and looks to be a real nice feature upgrade. I'm paying $9.99 for the PC version, so if it is a dissapointment (being very much like 2k9), or (repeating server issues) $9.99 will be worth the risk. I gotta wait an extra week tho for the PC version. I'm guessing it gets a 8.75 this year from IGN's Nate Ahearn.

it had to be intentional because anyone can spot the issue in a few games.
This confirms my claim that the developers do not strive for a default sim game. I've been saying it for the past year. Every year we complain that fouls are too low, yet the game is never tuned higher in subsequent years.See, these are the kind of statements that make me squint my eyes and scratch my head. And believe me, I'm not trying 2 be argumentative...I'm just thinking objectively and speaking openly...
U ask a question that there's clearly no way u could know unless u got the answer directly FROM a developer then u go ahead and say something HAD 2 be the way u hypothesized simply cause that's what u believe. Do u understand that's like standing in a closet arguing with urself then debating over who won the argument? I'll be the 1st 2 say that by default there aren't quite enough fouls called in the game but 2 insinuate a conspiracy theory amongst the developers 2 prevent the game from playing they precise way u want it 2 play is ridiculous man. Again, I don't say this 2 derail the topic (I'm not even gonna speak on it again) or 2 argue but more so 2 make people think about what they're saying b4 they say it...type it...whatever...
Simple fact is though, you need to put the fouls up when you get the game if you want accurate numbers over a long game (10 mins. or more).
difficult? Im barely trying and the lead passes are all too effective for in the paint dunks. both teams shooting 80%. bass threw one down over bynum and gasol.. im trying to like it but right now, its no challenge. im playing now moreso to see the animations. final version should be much more refined however.Do you have the Retail version? I've seen passes go into the paint for easy scores, but never through defenders like in 2k9. Its happened only because the defense was out of position, or rarely the defender just didnt react in time to defend. but i have a very good feeling this can be fixed with sliders.
There are just as many times where the defense will deflect or intercept the pass, or the pass will be off target, or go out of bounds. Its definitely improved.
From the video I've seen of the demo, this is not a representation of an NBA Finals game, just you using the 2 teams that played in last year's Finals.
Also, the game takes on a new meaning when you have the commentary. Go watch the video momentous posted. I wanted to touch on the isomotion and the movement in general in the the retail 2k10. Its really a HUGE improvement over 2k9.
You have to go into practice mode for a bit tho to get it mastered. You can literally just keep swapping back and forth from left hand, right hand dribble on command. I feel like i have total control this year.
Last year was just terrible in comparison. I had to use the button configuration for isomotion last year. this year i can pull off moves on command.
Tip: Be gentle on the left stick when first learning the dribble controls, and defensive controls.

Some weird choices were made as far as what to include in the demo. The CPU subs, but the human player cannot. Weird.Comment

LOL....who said they strive for a default sim game? Thats horrible business. Everybody holds "Inside Drive" as one of the most sim basketball games ever and guess what? That game sold horribly compared to Live and 2k. Its the choice of selling tens of thousands of games or selling millions. Easy choice. I'm just happy they gives options through sliders to make the game as realistic as possible.Comment
