This is my 4th 6'8 pf but I was trynna see if I could get more skills points this time around. My last 6'8 pf averaged 28 and 10 on 79% shooting and I earned over 15600 skills points with him. Thru out 5 games this guy is averaging 24 and 17 rbs On 63% shooting. I'm at 13,340 right now b4 this last game. Most of my points comes on put backs and fast break & I still have 4 more drills to go. My last guy had a 67 speed and that was made possible due to ball handling drills but I keep quiting when I don't get a speed increase. I hoping I can go to the bucks or the knicks or even charlotte, a place where a pf is needed

2,600 skill points per game (I've never gotten that high once) with your last guy and you're still not happy? Wow. Your numbers are also insane (but you admit you are just trying to see how many points you can get or whatever).

I don't think I'm ever taking my guy online, so luckily I can play it realistically and do the best I can to get a shot in the NBA (offline) rather than creating a beast who pulls down 20 boards and shoots 80% from the field to dominate with online.

I do like the "play the drill until you get the bump you want" (if you have the time) because we should be able to choose what we want improve. I'll do that but play the games straight.

Even though I'd have to split time W/ McGrady, Ariza, and Battier, I'd still want to get drafted by Houston. That's my team and I'd love to play there. Playing with Yao would be amazing.

My second choice would probably be Chicago. It's my home. Also, a young core of myself and Derrick Rose creating easy opprotunities for one another would be real cool.

Thank man. I'm also interested to know, once you make an NBA team, are there injuries (to you or your teammates), do trades happen (involving your team and others around the league).

Also, it'd be cool to demand trades, ask for more playing time, praise your teammates in the press, make a guarentee, have an agent, etc. (like in Madden's Superstar mode).

I have a feeling that next year this game is going to take off.

I don't really mind which team i get drafted by as long as I'm not playing behind LeBron or Melo. I wonder if we could be traded or ask for a trade, that would make things interesting.

I'd love to see some game play videos from this mode. It's the mode that makes me really want 2k10.

Yeah I'm playing strictly offline. Reason being, I started over because although I'm going 1st pick 2nd rd, the arrow is pointing down and that I assigned some skill points in a few areas I regretted from listen to some folks online. Rebounding is easy once you learn to box out, then go for it, I still jump too early tho. For a 6'8 guy, he get over 7 offensive boards. I just wanna get my speed back to 66. I also forgot to add that I average 5stl,4.5ast and 5blks plus less than 1 turnover a game. If u look at the leader board, as far as skills points in concerned, I'm the number one PF, and 144 overall...FOR MY LAST PLAYER

Man, I'm super stoked for this My Player mode.

I started the combine over with a 6'5" athletic SF.

Only stats I plan to raise are Consistency, Vertical, and Quickness.

Once I get the full retail, Stamina and shooting skills are next.

Really excited to see how this mode turns out. I never thought I'd enjoy playing with just one player but the CPU in general plays a good game of ball and I like contributing to my team by doing more than just scoring. Rebounding is actually my favorite.

Tuesday can't come soon enough.

Wow, I didn't expect a lot of PF's/C's in here to be honest.

I think there was this thread on Draft Combine position and most of the people played SG/SF and PG. The bigs are getting no love.

Blazinskills, can you give me tips on my PF? On what attributes to raise, etc? Is your PF an athletic one?

I created my 2nd player... he's a PF with the same body stats as Tim Duncan;: 6'11, 250 iirc. But throughout the games I've played him like Amar'e and I don't mind if that's the direction I'm heading. Solid offensive rebounds, good defense, good scoring. (Raised Shot Inside, Shot Close, Blocks, Def Rebounds, Vertical iirc) I never came close to what you are averaging Blazinskills though, mine's more modest.

I think I'm going to start over before NBA 2K10 comes, can you give me tips?

I am trying an undersized, 6'8", 240 rebounding pf right now, something like rodman eventually hopefully but rebounding pfs start with like 25 vertical so that is what I am improving first. Also, they start off with no offensive ability and being that small I have found it actually tougher to rebound with him than a 6'1" pg. Hopefully as I develop him and build up his vertical it will get better.

I want to go to houston too. Part of why I choose PF rather than C as I think I can get more playing time there
