I heard you can change the controls so they would be like Lives.

^i think so. I briefly glimpsed at the options and there is a controller option. I only played 1 game so far. Tomorrow imma really dig into it. I'm on the road now. Off to watch the special screening of "Paranormal Activity".

Not feeling it so far. The isomotion feels sluggish and the game in general feels very animation based, taking a lot of user control away. Gotta put it in some more time. I'm sure it will grow on me.

I'm starting to give up on this game because of this...Player movement is terrible. There are times when you have control of a player that's guarding the ballhandler and you can't do anything except watch as he goes all over the court because they go through you, or you go straight past them, allowing them an easy basket lol. Defense is non existent in User vs User games mainly due to the AI doing the craziest things..They always leave players wide open and when you go to contest, it's like your moving in mud

I hope that when another college hoops game comes out its not as trash as this demo. Where is the post game? Its hard to tell when i am posted w/o the vibration. Why is the game tempo so slow. Seems like soon as i get the ball to half court the shot clock is already at 15 sec. Why do the players move like they are sinking in quicksand? I love 2k but it seems like the last 2 games were just focused on graphics and not the whole game. I'm more of a Hoops fan myself.

^thats a good description....... Moving in mud. That's exactly what it feels like. I did an isomotion move and the animation went crazy and I ended up warping like 5 ft away from where I started! I hope that's a rare occurence.

For the guys talking about the slow movements or whatever, have you tried upping the game speed slider or anything like that?

The game speed is fine. Its just the animations get sluggish and not smooth at all. But when all the animations are running how they should, the game speed is fine.

IMO, yes. But those certain times are way too often.

it happens a lot when playing against teams that have iso players or if your playing user vs user

Are you guys using good ballhandler's???? What about the offball rating???? I know with some players if you dribble with thier opposite hand they don't do the moves as well as if they did it with thier dominant hand.

Try lowering player sped to 45,,you can do those by pressing Y at the team matchups menu.

I find it hilarious how the game is not even out yet but there are people, "giving up on it."

This is what this site has become over the last couple years people just saying stating random things to draw attention to themselves. The same people who said the demo was crap but bought it anyway, then will say that the game is crap after 2 days but continue to play it and these will be the same people 8 months from now still playing it and stating how crappy everything is about it.
