I didn't know where to ask this question, but I'm trying to find out where I can calibrate my HD-TV for this game. Some of the courts just look too bright (Bulls and Miami for example) on my TV, but when I looked at the videos online, they had almost perfect lighting. Can someone help me with this issue?

Is that right??? If you can't control rosters, that will rule me out of this game.

          Can someone confirm this??

Can't you control all 30 teams in season mode? If so, problem solved.
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

"What? You can't challenge a scoring play?''

Re: Official NBA 2k10 Impressions Thread

Loving the game so far, only two problems that I have with it.

Graphics took a major step forward, screens do not show you the beauty of how this game looks while playing(definately impressed with the presentation.)

Played as my Lakers against the Celtics, their d was tough.

I only shot 30-38% for the game(12 minute quarters/ Pared tweaks.)

Celtics shot 51% and scored 50 of their 90 points in the paint(don't know wether to credit that to my lackluster defense, my turnovers, or all the alleys they threw in the 2nd half.) They probably would of have more PIP if not for Pared tweaks.

Overall the good out weighs the bad for me, can't wait to the slider gurus dig into the game and get the cpu to tone down on the alleys/points in the paint.

Until then I will be practicing on getting better on D, which in return will help me keep the points in the paint down because most of those points were my fault, wether it was bad D or all the turnovers I had.

My impression of the game didn't last long. Been a 2k lifer since nba 2k dropped on dreamcast but honestly enough is enough. Exhorbitant fg% for one team and not the other that flip flops between pro and all star. No post D for either team. As far as i was concerned the only upgrade to the game was the pregame and the commentary. After 3 or 4 games i had realized I power traded 60 dollars for a roster update and quite frankly it was a weak update. The menus are more cluttered and and while the commentary was good it doesn't carry enough weight. After blowing out the Lakers with the Kings I headed for gamestop where I was shocked to find out that about 12 copies had been sold back on its release day. 32 bucks store credit when i power traded for it was more than worth it. I won't get into live cause it isn't sticking to the topic. I will say this about 2k. Their efforts have gotten weaker and weaker after 2k7, and until i see marked improvement... or a game that has dropped to 19.99, which after goin around the city today shouldn't be long, I will stick to my older library of 2k games and enjoy some of the other current basketball fare.

I don't necessarily agree with you...but it is clear that some long term 2K players have gone away from the series.

12 copies on release day returned seems strange though...you need to play a game for a while to really notice the subtle changes.

Not if they were sold back due to unplayabable framerate. It seems to be random though. Some people are reporting horrible issues and others claim they don't see anything wrong at all.

i want to play a season with the Nets but for someone who is used to watching their home games for me the arena in this game is just unplayable the Red on the arean floor outside the court makes my eyes bleed

I hope so! Controling the teams and playing along is what I like to do. Maybe NBA Today alleviates this?
