Quick impressions:
Big improvement on 2K9.
I can't believe fellas here are saying the graphics took a step back...I put 2K9 and 2K10 on back to back to check and 2K10 is much better. The courts, faces etc a big leap forward.
Team styles = nice

Now the negatives.................................the game is going to need really good, sl...slid....slider....slid, man I can't even say the word as I am so sick of every 2K NBA game needing, here it comes, sliders.
There's a lot of issues that sliders may / may not fix.
Last season, sliders made it worse in many regards...I can see a lot of guys here tearing their hair out over the next few weeks trying to get the gameplay right.
There's already several slider threads...which all seem to be pretty different. That's kind of worrying.
The fundamentals = superb. Rebounding, blocking, fastbreaks are all a long way ahead of any other NBA game.
However, there's definitely issues...I may not play much until someone settles on a really good slider set. Kind of over the whole "put cpu whatever to 20 and it's a whole new game...wait, now you need it at 90 or guys will just stand around...wait, you need it back at default or else the CPU AI goes haywire"...
Good game....may or may not be great in a few weeks.
