My Player is offline. Lately I've been reading threads saying that sliders work in My Player, even though they aren't supposed to. I'm going to try it out to see for myself. Obviously even if they do work, it's one and done, because you can't adjust any My Player options after you start your career.

Re: Official NBA 2k10 Impressions Thread
I play only off-line vs. CPU and was planning on getting this game in a couple of weeks after my NHL 10 buzz wears off (if it ever does), so it's good know sliders will work for me.It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

Re: Official NBA 2k10 Impressions Thread
I'm three games into my player during the summer league and I haven't had a team reach 100 points yet or shoot over 60% with 10 min quarters so I'm having no problem with the sliders at default. Maybe it's because I'm a defensive beast, lol.
On default in other modes though, ugly. Definite slider changes needed.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2k10 Impressions Thread
I cant believe all of the negative feedback from this game.
I just went to the 2k forums and man, 2k10 sound terrible!! I didnt buy 2k last year, but I was kinda looking foward to getting a 2k b-ball game again.....NOPE!
No way I will spend $60.00 on this game, it sound almost unplayable.

Re: Official NBA 2k10 Impressions Thread
I have a couple specific issues that keep cropping up in my game. I'm wondering what can I do on D to prevent these problems.
Every opposing CPU PG throws these sort of full court passes on me. They are widely accurate, but that's not the point. I want to know what can I do on D to prevent this. I have turned down crashing the boards in hopes that they get back, but I still have this problem.
Luckily I blocked the shot (Dominic McGuire is my boy).
Second issue:
Happens to me very often. I was playing on-ball D (Westbrook was torching the CPU outside, I had to play tight on him manually). The CPU will tend to slide backdoor and loop passes through the heart of my defense. What can I do on D to solve this?Comment
