Re: Frame Rate Issues
I just cant believe 2k didnt fix this crap this year..it has nothing to do with the power of the consoles neither..this was the same thing with last years pc version of 2k9..i ran it on my pc with 8gb ram, Qx9650 Quad overclocked to 4.6ghz and a ATI 4870X2 2gb videocard..i had the same freaking framerate issues...its the engine, its not optmized what so ever..its time for a new engine VC!!!
Im pissed off because i was really looking forward to 2k10 because i had put my money on the fact that there was no way they would let this slide by again and i was wrong..its there again and worse then last year.
And isnt that type of situation on a bball game pretty frequent? Thats the problem..it hurts the gameplay bigtime and what baffles me is that the game reviewers turn their head about this glarring issue..if they remove points for this..i think VC would be quicker to fix this issue.Last edited by Moegames; 10-02-2009, 09:34 PM...You win some, you lose some

Re: Frame Rate Issues
ok good news..like someone else mentioned..clearing the CACHE helps bigtime..atleast for me it did. All you gotta do is go into system settings, memory and press yellow button on your hdd. Now 2k cam is totally playable..thank goodness!!..You win some, you lose some

Re: Frame Rate Issues
After clearing my cache, I have only noticed a TINY bit of slowdown, AND I play on the broadcast view zoomed to 10 height 2 without key zoom, so I can see the guys spotting up after a post up (kick out)Comment

Re: Frame Rate Issues
I'm not really a tech guy so I'm not 100% sure but I think it clears out all the temporary data stored on the hard drive. Programs like games fill up the cache with stuff to help them run smoother and deleting it won't affect your saves. Like I said, not a very technical explanation but there you go.Comment
