Like many others I was in anticipation of the new patch addressing game freeze issues. Since downloading said patch, I haven't been able to play more than 3 minutes without a complete Xbox freeze.

After reading about freezes (in just about every game mode) I tried playing the game with no updates at all. Game freezes were at a minimum. I averaged about one every 2 games. Then after applying any updates I couldn't get through an entire game. Now, since the most recent patch, I literally can't go 3 minutes.

Anyone else encountering this? If so, anyone know of a fix or any other work-around?

I had hoped to be able to play this game, but as it stands now it's not looking so good.

I'm not sure if this is a new issue from the patch or not, but..

During the middle of a game the CPU seemed to take over partial control of my team. I couldn't inbound the ball and kept getting called for 5-second violations. Calling timeouts or switching inbounds players didn't help. After the ball was in my possession I couldn't control my players. So weird. I saved and quit, and when I came back to the game I was back in control. It played like coach mode but I could still bring up player icons and stuff.

Also, after that bug, my A button seems to cycle through my 5 players rather than switch to the one closest to the ball, so now I'm forced to manually pick my player for the whole game. What's going on?!

has anyone ran into this glitch after the patch?

This seems to happen after the 1st free throw. The ref will not throw you the ball and all bench players are shaking there heads mad crazy. I have to call timeout to return everything to normal this has happen to me 5 back to back games.

Sometimes I can't control my player in my player mode, he's being played automatically by the cpu.

I'm getting this exact same bug. I was unable to control my team.

As the Nets, during the first stoppage Jarvis Hayes ALWAYS gets subbed in for Devin Harris.

And yes, I have subs set to manual.

People don't get fouled out in My Player? I was playing against the Blazers with my player (which is in the Rockets). Oden gets his 6th foul and Kevin Harlan is like "That's his 6th foul and he will be sitting for the rest of the game" and he never got off.... o_O!

Yeah man I had it in every game since the patch (5 games), except the my last one, once I had to "waste" three timeouts and sub a player to get the game working. But its not only after the first FT.

Had it before the patch too, but not nearly as often. Delete the settings wont help it.

Really hate using my timeouts...hope they patch this in a second patch, not anticipating the day when I have no timeouts and the bench starts shaking heads...

Ref glitch still exists, Played a game Nuggets at Rockets ... Ref held onto the ball and wouldn't pass to the in-bounder, had to call a timeout .... So much for the issue being resolved

Fix the Damn cpu catch up logic, its soooo annoying. I have an open fastbreak and the cpu turns into track stars!

I'm pretty sure the association auto-save bug is still in the game even though 2k said it would be addressed. I was wondering if anyone has gotten around this glitch or found a way to turn auto-save off in Association mode?

Game 1 of my Hawks association. Indiana at Atlanta and we were getting blown out by 26 when the game froze on a drive by teague. Action just froze like a still screen and never recovered.

^^That happens to me alot, ever since 2k9. Its on the same layup everytime too.

Ok i dont know if this has been said yet but, whenever i press the intentional foul button the guys go through with the animation but no foul is called. This is incredibly annoying because ive been in many close games and when the computer goes to foul me, he wraps my guy up and my guy loses the ball. This normally leads to a fastbreak dunk or layup and i lose the game. Anyone have the same problem or know how to fix it?
