Let’s say the ball is moving around/swinging from weak side to strong. And the defense is trying to rotate. The players is going straight to contest. They do a spin instead of just coming straight out to contest the shot. It’s hard to explain. It just needs to be seen. <O></O>

This might be a better example. Instead of watching the ball go from left to right. They will spin the opposite way. Leaving them out of position. Doing a 360 instead of just going 90 degrees to contest the ball

Check out the replay, hit b or start to get back to the menu to start OT and the game and the music and audio comes back but not the video. Screen goes blank, wait a few minutes, push every button imagineable, no luck. Had to restart the box. Blah. Pretty frustrating.

As the Thunder against the Pistons, at Detroit with under a minute to go. I brought the ball down the court and planned on giving it to Durant so that he could make something happen, on the offensive end of the court though he is nowhere to be found. As I move closer to halfcourt I catch a glimpse of him, he is in the backcourt running in circles around the 3-pt line. The closer I moved to the other basket the closer his circle got to halfcourt. When he finally crossed HC I passed it to him and this ended the circle running.

I really wish I would have saved a video of this happening.

This isn't a big issue so I didn't make a thread about it but I thought I'll point this out. The Denver Nugget's secondary road jersey (Navy Blue) one. The front jersey number is way too high and somewhat overlaps the "Nuggets" text.

I just played a game with the Nuggets yesterday and I noticed the same thing. How do the art designers make this error? Were they even LOOKING at the real-life jersey they were modeling!?!? Things like that (and the Bulls bench not being on the right side at home games) really makes me scratch my head sometimes about the attention to detail and general knowledge of the NBA by 2K's art director.

I made this a separate topic in the forum, but half the scoreboard during the games is being cut off by my HDTV. I'm pretty sure (100% sure) it has nothing to do with my HDTV and is just an error on 2K's part for putting the scoreboard up too high and/or not making it compatible with certain HDTVs. This is a BIG problem and it needs to get fixed IMMEDIATELY because I can't even see the score of the game when I'm playing.

At 2:13 on that video, the guy called for a 5-player substitution, and those 5 players got off the bench, walked to the area where they wait to get it - and interrupted the action on the court.

I am about 99% that has something to do with the setting on your xbox. Check to make sure that when you play the game that it isn't changing the settings on the xbox to a form that your tv doesn't display. If this were a problem with the game then it would be apparent on almost every copy of the game and not just one.

I dunno, my HDTV displays the same "1080i Standard" format that it does for everything else that doesn't have cropping issues. My 360 displays "1080i Widescreen" consistently so I don't know what the issue is.

Hmm, I don't know if the fact that the TV says Standard format and the 360 says Widescreen has anything to do with that but that may be something to look into. Either way, I can pretty much guarantee that is what the problem is, it may be what type of cables you are using or something like that.

Sounds like he was either bored or possessed lol. Check to see the players mood (if in Association mode) lol.

Boy you guys post some silly ****. Let me try to keep my complaints to the real essentials.

1. Subbing on team up pick up games.

When you try to sub your player, you cannot see what your doing. The graphic just says one players name 5 different times. So if you want to sub in Odom for Gasol, you basically have to blindly guess.

2. Saving your coach settings doesn't work. Or doesn't load, whatever.

3. Fatigue seems to be an issue in online play, I don't really have that big a problem with it, it seems decent to me.. but I notice people complaining a lot. Maybe they just have to get used to it. I don't use turbo very often.

4. Shot annimations around the basket, I don't know if this is fixable. But way too often when a player should be attempting a layup or something, they go to that ridiculous left handed hook shot that I don't think I've ever seen anyone in the nba actually shoot.

Not sure if this is a bug or something I have to just learn buuuuut my BIGGEST issue has to do with the off the ball defense in team up pickup games.

If your trying to follow a player around the court, and he changes directions, its nearly impossible to stay with him because the momentum carries you a few feet before it let's you change your direction.

Also in teamup mode the freethrows seem to be buggy no matter how early I release it tells me its too late. But that could just be an adjustment I need to make!

There is a D-League glitch... where I send two of my players down and once I retrieve one back and try to send another one to the D-League it tells me that I already have 2 payers in there even though I only had one there... so I try to get the other one back so that I have no players in the D-League and try to put someone there and it still tells me that I can't have more than two players down there... even though no body was there anymore!??

Also, when getting a player back from the D-League who was a started down there and getting him back to the team he demands a starting role... when u change his role back to role player his morale drops like 25 pts!!! WTF?!!

What's with the CPU taking two timeouts at a time? For example, the computer starts the game off with 7 timeouts and they take one, yet they are down to five. I mean, after 2 actual timeouts, they're already down to 3.

This game's as buggy as MLB 2k9.
