Not much to look at, may look better on the PSP small screen.. However, the gameplay looks leaps and bounds better than Sony's offering.

Sonys game is more focused on mini games, while 2K's is all about the 5 on 5. I can't wait to get 2K10 in the a.m.

They didn't really update the Sixers court except the logo but you can at least create-a-player.

I'm really thinking about getting this, but I'm thinking about getting NBA Live for psp. What's turning me off is the graphics, I'm not a graphic whore, but the psp can pump out some nice visuals, and this just looks under par to me, but everything else sounds solid, that's why it disappoints me NBA 2K's visuals look well... lackluster, I don't know about this.

This is what I read and the graphics look better, It looks intriguing and I like that they are working on the defensive aspect of the game too.

Finally a thread dedicated for the PSP.

I'm a graphics guy so that's whats preventing me from buying it but in the end I might..I hope it looks better in the actual PSP screen than these shots - am I right?

Looks promising, I'll buy both just to have fun.

I have the psp version and its pretty good. The graphics are ok and it plays kind of like a refined 2k6. All the camera views are there, and they're all adjustable. Didn't see any throwbacks. All the legend and rookie teams are there also. Compared to previous handheld bball games, the gameplay is top notch.

Live has been horrible on the PSP..they will probably use the same engine and if so its not worth it at all. The sony NBA game was wayyy better than live this one looks great in terms of gameplay..a must buy IMO if you like basketball and have a PSP

I dont think nobody will be disappointed if they get 2K10 for the psp. I been playing this game nonstop, the graphics are decent dont pay any attention to the screenshots. I was shocked how much detail this game had for a basketball game on the psp, from refs to coaches on the sideline, stats overlays, halftime show highlights, to cut-scene of the fans cheering and all. Even player details on shoes, tats, and accessories (loving the player edit options) is pretty decent. Im loving player sig shots as well in the game, the gameplay is much better than Live IMO.

questions to those who started a season on PSP, are the CPU Trades ON by default or are they on OFF? I cant tell in that menu its confusing, i want them off, so are they off by default?? thanks.

game is fun by the way, best playing psp basketball game yet, they actually call fouls unlike other psp basketbal games

Umm have you ever played NBA Live on PSP? Its been pretty much the same exact game since Live 06. Every year I would wait for the next version for them to fix certain bugs and gameplay, and they never do. They might have made it look a little better, added new rosters but the gameplay is still broken. Maybe Live 10 is different but I'm not keeping my hopes up.

2K10 graphics aren't bad enough to where you can't play and have to resort to NBA Live. The game itself is very detailed. You would be making a mistake by skipping 2K10 for Live. Honestly, after seeing those Live 10 screenshots, 2K has better graphics. Players don't look cartoony and 2K actually has the bench, coaches and the press row.

Wait, do you actually get highlights or still images? Because I get still images.

CPU Trades is ON by default. Did a quick sim of one season in a Franchise and there were only about 2 minor trades. Both reasonable. There were more trades the next season.
