Gosen, are you using a profile that is connected to xbox live? Are all your settings default? Are you using 2k or broadcast?

No i'm not currently connected to Xbox Live. I use broadcast cam with no view changes. All my settings are default except for difficulty, a few slider adjustments and some play calling. Everything runs really smooth that's why i get so confused when i see all these lag posts.

I am very interested to know how your game acts when using 2k cam, specifically during the camera auto-flip after a made basket. Is there any slowness/jitter or is the transition completely smooth (ala after last year's patch)

also, what resolution is your tv? i have a 50 inch 1080p.. maybe that has something to do with it...

I dont understand people who are posting stuff like this. I have it on the 360 and notice no lag. To me it sounds like some of the people who are posting topics like either own Live or are bitter that 2k is the better product.

Just ran a test using the 2K cam. On all different zoom levels. I got a hiccup or two during cut scene where it showed the association standings but 0 so far during gameplay.

And i'm on a 1080i I believe. Don't quote me on that but it's some sort of HD lol.

I have been playing 2k since DreamCast if it is not a 2k B-Ball i will not be playing a b-ball game this year so dont say i am trying to push EA's crap. All i am doing is for those u dont have a PS3 you should not have to play a with this much frame rate issues. This also happened last year on the mlb 2k9

I agree that the can fix the problem with the patch.

Do you know when is supposed to be out? I think I might wait to the patch to buy the game.

Mojo - What we are trying to say is that there is some issue occuring that can be resolved without a patch. If it was every user experiencing the same issues, then that'd be one thing. I'm starting to think that it might be affecting 1080p users the most. Try switching your xbox output resolution to 720 under system settings. I would do it but I am not at home right now.

well someone who is experiencing the framerate slowdown, please try switching your resolution output to 720p under system settings if you have a 1080p tv

Mojo - What we are trying to say is that there is some issue occuring that can be resolved without a patch. If it was every user experiencing the same issues, then that'd be one thing. I haven't bought my copy yet but I was a bit concern reading the forums. I will check on a friend's or rent it out to verify. The demo is AWESOME!.

The demo does not justify the game at all. The game is great once you get some good sliders in to tune the CPU's field goal shooting %. Pared has some great ones posted.

Get the game ASAP, you will not be dissapointed. :wink:

Yeah it only lags from certain camera angles it seems from time to time. But I use 2k cam and so far havent had any problems with it. Using the default cam yeah you can see lag near the hoop from time to time.

If you do see lag just exchange it if you like the game to get a copy that has less. If that doesn't work, a patch should be out soon to fix it.

To answer my own question - my local gamestop manager allowed me to do an even exchange for the PS3. He said normally they don't allow it but since the issue with the 360 version was well known he would. So if you have both systems you may want to just go ahead and exchange your copy.
