ok seriously..how do you guys win with the Twolves???? I can't stand it any more. We've been out scored by MORE THAN 20 IN THE FORTH QUARTER THE LAST THREE GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to break my damn controller. we are 10-21.....i have no IDEA how you guys get this team to do anything

if anything this game has done a great job of giving me the feeling of being on a bad team. It's going to get to the point of wondering why i'm playing other than for myself (ie skill points....or in real life money)

I wouldnt worry about how your team is playing, just focus on maxing out your player points per game and think ahead to after the first year when you have other signing options.

I'm with the wolves too dude. We lose some and we win some. Our team needs a serious rebuilding. But for the last 3 games we managed to beat some of the biggest teams in the league. First we beat the Celtics 76-50, it was a blowout. Second, we beat the Spurs 60-57, it was a nail-bite, thanks to "Big" Al we won. Third we beat the Cavs 67-60, Love and "Big" Al was on the groove.

**My Player (Athletic SF) - 60 OVR - He is playing quite well. 14 PPG, 7 RPG, 5 APG, 1 SPG. But he is still on the bench. I'm hoping that maybe next year he would be on the staring lineup. I'm going to try my best to make this team a Championship Caliber Team ( A challenge for myself actually ).**

It is probably the difficulty level they are playing on. I am playing for the thunder who aren't a whole lot better although are somewhat better and with great performances by me and one decent trade we are sitting around 500. The wolves have decent young talent so if you are playing a position where they really need help sticking it out with them may be the way to go as they have guys who will get better with time to play around you.

If you are in a position where you are battling with another good player like PF then maybe you should look to move on after the season, especially if you want to win. Go to a team like houston or orlando or another team along those lines that has a lot of talent at other positions where you can really help them out.

Either way, playing for a losing team leaves you playing mostly for yourself and your development at this point. On the plus side if you are playing a guard position and you stay with them love, jefferson, and brewer are all decent or better young players who will develop into a good front line. Add in yourself and another lottery pick with ellington and flynn and you have a decent young backcourt and could be a playoff team as early as next year.

I'm a 69 Overall SF. They traded Brewer for Roger Mason. They traded sessions for felton...then traded felton for david west.

Its just really frustrating. plus you lose out on 200 SP with every loss.

I could see trading brewer since you are a 3 and probably taking his minutes. Going after felton, ok sure. Trading felton for west when they already have love and jefferson, that I don't really get. He will have limited playing time so I don't know that he will contribute much.

I definitaly agree that losing 200 a game makes it tough. Still you are given so many points throughout a game you should progress decently through the season. Also, the 3 spot isn't too stacked rookie wise so you should be able to make an all rookie team and pick up a few other milestones along the way.

yeah...they start flynn, mason, me, west, jefferson with love and bowen first off the bench.

I was the Rookie of the Month for november....I'm averaging 15 pts 5 assists and 5 reb per game. Just would be nice to have about 1200 more SP

                  Re: My Player Progression Strategy

Is it better to play more minutes in the D-league or play a few minutes in the NBA? Do you get more points for stuff in the NBA?

I am trying to figure out how hard I want to go for the A+ every game.

Also as a Center in My player, when do you get Shaqs packages? What skills need to be upgraded and to where?

                  Thanks

You will enjoy a lot in the NBA than D-League.
And about that Shaq package. Are you talking about the dunks and stuffs..??? If yes then you need a higher dunking ability rating.

Is it the dunk skill or the standing dunk? How many pts do I need for the new package (60/70/80)?

Do you get anything for raising block rating, low post offense, low post defense?

                      Thanks

Most dunking package are in the 80's-90's...Some are 70's.
And you need the DUNK SKILL (not standing dunk).

Yes we get something for raising block rating, low post offense, low post defense. It increases our stats. and make our player better.

Good questions Whizer I was wondering the same thing about getting the Shaq dunk package for my centre as well.

Does anyone know if your player can get allstar votes? My player is now averaging 20ppg, 8.5 rpg and 2 bpg and isn't even listed as receiving enough votes to qualify for being considered for the all star game despite many scrubs being listed and my team has the best record in the division.

The athletic package is available at I think 65. The specialty individual dunks start being available at 80. The individual packages are mostly there by 85.

The block rating will unlock more block animations and increase the chances of getting the right one for a situation. Also you will more often get the block than the foul with a higher rating.

Low post offense will unlock new post move packages the same way dunk does for dunk packages. Also, it will increase the chances of spins, drop steps, up and unders, shimmies, and other post moves being successful and leading to good shots. Low post defense will reduce the opponents success in those areas.

85 I am pretty sure for the shaq package. It is funny cause shaq doesn't have enough to get it. Also, watching shaq play and seeing his dunks in real life his package in the game shouldn't take to high of a dunk rating. It should take a really high standing dunk rating though. They really need to next year look at implementing height, standing dunk, vertical, and possibly even strength, and a new agility type rating and shoot in traffic into unlocking some dunk packages. This way different types of players would unlock different packages. Also, I think they need to split dunk into dunk success, dunk power, and dunk finesse ratings all of which would play in.

As for the all star votes yes you can. I am currently averaging 17 points, 13 boards, 2.3 blocks, almost 1 steal, and 2 assists with my center and am like 9th in the west in votes. I think being a no-name rookie or even late first round rookie like my guy it takes some time to build up the popularity to get votes which would make some sense as all star voting is basically a popularity contest.
