The patch is a ways off guys. They want to make it as packed as possible, and it has to pass through cert and first parties. It will take a while for that to happen.

No not at all. Last year's came out in early December, this year they started sooner. I would say less than a month.

any day of the week in todays day and age (in terms of video games) ...

I´ll live for now.

Yea I'll just hope the Madden patch comes out first, right now I'm waiting on patches from Madden and NBA 2K to start Franchise/Association.

I don't mean to be rude, but I LOL'ed when I read your post. It's amazing that we're at a point in console sports gaming where we purchase games and then have to wait weeks later for patches so we can actually start PLAYING the games like they were meant to be played. "Man guys, feels good to buy Madden and 2K10...now I'm gonna put them on my shelf and wait a month from now to open them. Then the real gaming begins my friends!"

This is bust your gut funny but oh so true. It really makes you stop and wonder... who are these guys testing these video games now-a-days. I really feel both 2K10 and Madden10 could've been held back longer for testing before being shipped. I'm confused... I mean these guys get paid a grip to do this daily... we buy these games when released a play them for the first time.

I still love this game though

wonder if we'll get a suitable roster update in the near future at least. (one with all the missing players added or at least in the FA pool)

Not rude at all, you're exactly right, it's pretty pathetic. I haven't had an enjoyable franchise/association mode since last year in NBA 2K9. Madden 09 bombed last year, MLB 2K9 bombed this year, I hadn't played Fifa for years but I went back to it just because I wanted a franchise of some sort.

Kind of a bummer but I figured at least one month because the vast amount of problems ... Feel bit ripped off , but whatever, hopefully after this it will becomes the best basketball game of all time .... After the patch is released its probably going to feel like a brand new sim ...I hope

I'm right there with you... problem for me is when Modern Warfare 2 comes out I'm deffinetely selling Madden to get it, and 2k10 won't be played as much as it would have if association worked right now.

I think from now on I'm renting these sports titles and just sticking with buying The Show. I'm just tired of buying games and playing quick games while waiting for a patch to fix these issues.

IMO, The longer the better because this game has more bugs than a project's apartment...

Sad that this is what games are are coming too....Guess I'll stop buy games at release dates....

We ought to take a pool on which patch comes out next - Madden or NBA 2k10. I say they come out the same day LOL

I too would like to see a roster update included.
