Re: Question about the "emotion" attribute
yeah juke, your post a little while back reminded me of the discrepancy when i saw it in 2k10. but i agree with DC about what it really does based on the past and last year's explanation. the next time i play, i'll test it out to know for sure since it should obviously affect passes in the lane and definitely alley-oops.Comment

I agree with DC too, this is just an example of 2k not being clear on their decriptionsyeah juke, your post a little while back reminded me of the discrepancy when i saw it in 2k10. but i agree with DC about what it really does based on the past and last year's explanation. the next time i play, i'll test it out to know for sure since it should obviously affect passes in the lane and definitely alley-oops.Comment

Re: Question about the "emotion" attribute
What YOU said is not confusing. I'm speaking in general about 2k's lack of clarity with sliders and their purpose/proper usage.
At any rate, I don't see why this would be something you would have to spend points on. I can understand dunks, layups, hands since it would affect the outcome of your play and players skills. But if emotion is strictly how expressive your player is, for animation sake, (keeping in mind there are no flagrant or techs), I just don't see the purpose.
Maybe I'M missing something.Amen.Lol, people get enjoyment from their game in different ways. Why they enjoy one thing over another is not really important. --trobinson97Comment

Re: Question about the "emotion" attribute
First of all the description on the emotion attribute is completely false, and as much as I didn't want to believe it I think emotion may in fact increase your ability to draw fouls.
For all the people in this thread so sure that it makes your player more expressive I'd like to ask if they've seen this first hand. I've played over 200 My Player games with it at 50, and have played at least 20 with it at 99 and I don't see a difference. Where I do see a difference is with me drawing fouls. This isn't a placebo effect because I've seen a very healthy increase in how many times I've gotten to the line since upgrading it, yet I haven't changed my playstyle, and as strange as it may seem I forgot that I even upgraded it after doing so.
I'll put it this way. I'm inclined to believe that it helps you draw fouls more than I believe what the description says.Comment
