i see what hes saying and theres a hint of truth to that. I may have 8 perfect passes to tim duncan in the paint, as my counterpart in the paint, and he'll make 1 of them. but a manu or rjeff can pass to duncan and give him bad position and hell make contested shots all day.. It's like "why cant this fool make shots when I pass them to him?"

I provide him with the best chance of success but the game just doesnt want me to get assists. I really believe the game feels that way lol

No conspiracy. I *just* missed my first triple double, and I have a PF with a ROTTEN passer rating. Guys go through streaks of hot and cold, and there is a momentum meter in this game. Run plays, and if you're not the PG, have the CPU run plays, and flow will return to your offense. When it does, you can go back to freestyling it.

I play on Portland, and there are some dudes that always get me assists(LA, Roy, Fernandez, Oden) and other dudes who NEVER hit a shot when I pass it to them(I'm looking at YOU Outlaw!). Either way, if I can get almost ten assists with my player, who is much more of a finisher than a playmaker(leading the league at 70%, tyvm), I'm sure you wing players can average 9-12 assists if you pay attention to offensive flow, and who is hot.

Also, check for injuries. My roommate is playing on the Mavs and wondered why Dirk wasn't hitting anything. Turned out he had a broken finger, and his ratings had taken a hit. This might not always be the case, but it's worth checking out.


In other news, now that I'm rated a 60, my stupid clone is getting PT and destroying my averages. I went from averaging 16.1 ppg to 15.4, after scoring 18 pts in a game. Can't wait till they delete him with the patch. Right now I'm the frontrunner for ROY and 6th man, and I don't want my clone ruining things.

In other news, now that I'm rated a 60, my stupid clone is getting PT and destroying my averages. I went from averaging 16.1 ppg to 15.4, after scoring 18 pts in a game. Can't wait till they delete him with the patch. Right now I'm the frontrunner for ROY and 6th man, and I don't want my clone ruining things.

this is starting to get annoying. If i dish the ball to the Center or PF and he has a good shot at the hoop he would miss an easy lay up as if this game is not trying to give me a lot of assists. But when another player dishes it and the C or PF makes a more difficult shot it seems like they still would make it. Am i the only one having this problem

hey man...it could be "worse". u could dish it to the C and he goes up for the dunk, only to pass it out at the last minute (happens to me).

or u could have another problem i had...when u get into the playoffs and you're close to a career milestone and every game u realize u have less/more assists than what u normally should

I never tell my teammates to shoot.

Playing the Rockets in Houston...overall great game, I beasted, 28, 12 and 8 or whatever...Yao Ming played 53 mins and no sign of a gatorade cup.

Yao can't WATCH a game for 53 mins without getting tired, yet he plays a whole game AND overtime with NO signs of fatigue? I would have had a game winning block on him if my teammates didn't come down with a sudden case of stupid. Last play, we go to Oden 12 feet out in the post. : With 2 seconds left, Roy launches from half court instead of dribbling to the line, which there was time to do.

We almost overcame Miller trying to set the record for TOs in a game, too.

This is a total consiracy and needs to be pacthed right away. I hate when my LEAD passes get dropped. I don't care if the ball morphed right through three players either. I need my 10 assists a game. I worked my butt off on that lead pass.

lol...i work so hard to not go over 25 assists, i think gettin 10 should be easy for any player

Actually it SHOULDN'T be easy for any player. That is the problem now

well...as the game plays now...it should be easy to get 10. especially since sliders dont work in my player mode and all teams shoot above 50%.
