But the reality is if I'm using the Warriors I should be losing the majority of those games. Not winning all of them. Aside from the starters going down. What sliders are you using and what difficulty are you playing on?
its funny because i thought i was alone...i was thinking about posting a thread like this for a while..

im playing on HOF 12 mins with Green_Flash sliders

I understand what you arre going through. I dont think i am a great NBA 2k10 player or even good. yet i still beat the CPU easily.

put the on ball D for the defence up, that way you cant dribble past them

I feel you man I remember being the knicks and beating the nuggets by 30, celtics by 20, and cavs by 18.

Really sucks sometimes I make mistakes on purpose just to give the cpu a chance to beat me.If I wanted to I could go 82-0 the entire season.

I'm on PS3, I'm starting to have the same problem. It's annoying. I bumped up to HOF, and it helps a little. But i still pull out the W.

Well it's good to see I'm not the only one with the problem, but at the same time I feel bad for everyone else because when you go into a game guaranteed a win. It's not exactly fun or very involving.

I changed a few things. I upped the CPU's steals and shot blocking, put their offensive awareness at 90 I think, or 100. And using the Cavs at Utah I had a pretty good game through 3 quarters. I was up by 5 to begin the 4th and it resembled a real NBA game throughout the game. I started the game on a 15-5 run and figured great, my adjustments did absolutely nothing. But they closed the quarter on a 14-2 run and it was 19-17 at the end of the first. Unfortunately though, I had another ridiculous 4th quarter and outscored them 32-8 in the final frame. But it gave me hope that I'm on the right track. If I'm able to start having consistently close games or actually start losing. I will definitely post the sliders here so the rest of you can try them out and maybe we can all start having to try. lol.

bruneul - I'm totally with you on the 82-0 comment. Really that's how it feels. And you're right, using some bottom rung team and obliterating the best teams in the NBA gets you so detached from the game it's not even funny.

JkA3 - Are you finding it's still realistic on HOF or is the CPU playing unrealistically but you're dealing with it just so that it's competitive?

My last game that I mentioned. I shot 49% and the jazz shot 45%. So in that regard it was a good game. I had more turnovers than them. A few more offensive rebounds. Just one monster quarter that changed everything. Also had 10 blocks to their 3 and went to the stripe 25 times to their 8. I have shooting fouls at 100 (rules) and commit fouls at 100(tend) for user. Not sure what else I can do to make them go to the line more

Re: I need help with losing. Yes, you read that right.

So after much tweaking and adjusting. This is to the last few guys that responded. I finally lost not only once, but twice, within 3 games. As the Warriors I lost to the Rockets 96-94 and lost to the Lakers 102-92, and beat the Suns 106-88.

The field goal percentages were accurate. Rebounds are kinda low (for your team as a whole) because I'm on 8 minute quarters. But if you have anyone on your team that averages a double double, a guy like D12 or Zach Randolph or Boozer. He'll still pull down 10+ every game. And most importantly the game feels competitive without being cheap.

While I was trying this out I played a couple of quick games and in one game used the Hawks against the Clippers. The clips shot 86% from the field in the first quarter and were up 24-15 at the end of one. By halftime it was 36-36. And I ended up winning 89-81. We both had runs back and forth. They obviously came out shooting hot but instead of messing with the sliders (it was my first game with my new set) i just rode it out and it balanced out over the course of the game. We both shot mid 40% fg and it was very competitive. Then I played as the Hornets vs Raptors and won 106-105 in OT.

I'm getting realistic stats across the board. The CPU isn't getting all of their points in the paint. For instance, the Raptors scored 105 points, 42 of them were in the paint. That's a number I can live with. They work the post, hit the 3, shoot the mid range j. It just feels great. If you guys want me to post the sliders/settings that I'm using I can definitely do that for ya. I hope they work the same for you as they are for me. Knowing what it's like to easily win every game and be unattached from most games by the end of the 1st Q made me decide to try to get it perfect so you guys could enjoy the game again. Let me know if you want em I can also post more comprehensive stats if need be.

If you are having troubles loosing...try to increase the defensive and offensive awareness. That has helped me a bit.
