I also love what they did to the Alley oops!!!

One of my friends use to cheese that over and over and over....to the point where could get alleys at will. In my first game vs him.....I got the score 25 to 4 in the first quarter!...LMAO....I couldn't stop laughing last night. My whole weekend was better just because of this.
My cuz got Yao and tried to go ape with him, no happs lol, contact then a weak-side block. So gratifying. He did his numbers, but he earned them.

And I been a postman since 2k7, but it feels good for it to finally differentiate me from Joe Drive DaLane.

This game is perfect right now. Unless some bugged out cheese appears. I don't see right now. I'm just so happy that playing smart is reward with the W compared to before. Where I know my opponent can't shoot very well. I'm backing off of him to give shots to Ray Allen. But he still can't hit them. Yea seriously...One of my friends is like that. I would back off....And he would still drive and make shots....Not anymore....Time to learn how to shoot...lol

Nope vs Me….No one got their numbers. One played with ATL another played LA. Another played with the Cavs. They all took poor shots. I mean even on fast breaks. I had them second guessing going to the rack. One of my friends had Kobe in a one on one situation vs Anderson (I got dunked on by Wade). And in the previously situations. I fouled them hard and sent he to the foul line. My friend has trouble shooting free throws with Kobe (yes I know that how bad of a cheese he is). But after a while he started doing the smart thing and pulling up for med range J’s on the fast break. He still finished 6-21. One of them shot like 25% from the field. In another game vs him. I got Bynum in foul trouble early by going to Shaq. I thought to myself…..”wow….I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone get in foul before”

agree 100%. this game is everything you could want in a basketball video game. I finally just grabbed a quality roster and pared's sliders, started a franchise and never looked back.

          fantastic game!!

Seriously though, after the update, this game is by far the greatest basketball game to hit the market.

We are so quick to complain about flaws in games ( as we should ) but not nearly as quick to praise. 2k10 is not perfect by any means, but offline its as close to the NBA some one can get without having to tell Spke to scoot over.

i agree. Best bball game ever made. The defense is finally there. I played my boy last night and with 5 min qrtrs i held him scoreless through the whole 1st. lol.

I love this game. and i haven't even touched Association or My Player (since the draft combine.)

I got together with 3 of my friends to play a 5on5 2k streetball game. 2 users on each team. Man I've never seen so much defense in my life! even more defense than a regular game. It was awesome. i suggest you guys try it out if you can.

Player movement and the perimeter game in general is still lacking. Jumpshooting can feel very unresponsive at times, same thing with Isomotion.

I think they need to completely rehaul the player movement and find a better system than isomotion. Even when it works right, it doesn't look like NBA basketball. D Rose's behind the back move takes him 10 feet to either side, in the NBA dribble moves are compact and explosive.

It didn't bother me as much in previous years because there was no better alternative, but the "other" game really nailed the look and feel of an NBA perimeter game. 2K can't be matched in the paint though, even if some players are still far too effective on short hooks.

I did not agree with a single word you said, till your last sentence which i bolded. To me this game is superior in every way. The other game probably has better interior D. and smoother controls. But i hate the freestyle dribble moves. i needs me some isomotion. oh and 2k needs to implement moving picks and illegal screens calls.

I have the pc version and it just doesn't feel like I have that much control over my player....which is really annoying. I'm hoping that it'll fixed in the patch, but otherwise it's a great game.

                              Lol, i respect that....

and to those who have trouble with the movement in this game, i understand, but its worlds better than 2k9 where they would force you to take a wider angle to make the court seem larger.

Can the game be improved? Sure, just like any other thing, but as of now its the best thing smoking.

Don't get me wrong, I love the depth of moves available with Isomotion, I just don't agree with how they're executed on the court.

Take the example I gave you, if you have D Rose outside the right side of the key and do his behind the back dribble, you'll end up outside the left side of the key, it's insane. That may be the most extreme example, but I'm sure the 2k devs themselves know the movement in the game needs major work.

I agree that 2k is superior in just about every way, but the movement system and jumpshot responsiveness need major work. I've been back to 2k since the patch, but I still miss the absolute control of Live. If you put Live's controls into 2k it would be a near perfect basketball game, it's a nice dream.
