They're not the same animations, but you do explode, lower your shoulder a bit, and get a burst off the move... not quite as effective as in the past, but you can still work the defender out with it. Losing the protect ball spin sucks though, that one is really useless and you don't get any kind of momentum coming out of it.

I never used the ball protector that much in 2k8 and 9. I usually only to throw off which direction I was going in.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Frustrating is a good word to describe player movement in this game.
This is the first sports game I've ever seen with invisible walls. Someone will be pressing me (typical online game) I'll make a move near half court, have the man beat, but then my player appears to hit some invisible wall and gets bumped back...back court violation! Great. Those "Isofail" animations happen far too frequently, IMO.
Anyways, give us back our triple threat animations 2k! That is all.Comment
