Alllll the waaaayyy back to the Pong days. I'm sure people remember the Atari football game from way back and then Intellivision came out. Wow!

Not sure when or why I would even stop playing. In 5 years the level of sophistication in these game will probably be off the charts. These games obviously aren't just for kids anymore.

I was sitting at dinner on New Year's Eve with some friends and my friend's husband was excited because she bought him the Elite 360 Modern Warfare Edition for Xmas and he's damn near 50! Lol!

Yeah, I think that was my first hoops game too (for the computer). I can still hear the sound of the dribbling in my head...

That was a solid game. I may pull it out of my closet and play it for old times' sake(yeah, I still have my old systems). Plus you had the ability to break the backboard.

It's great to see so many old time gamers. I know I'll be doing this until the day I die(along with reading comic books and watching sci-fi). What's the harm in it? Since when is there a cut-off age to gaming?

I also had the Coleco hand-held football/basketball/baseball games with the red blips. Anyone remember those? They were the s***!

Ahh snap. how they hell did those simple games have me mezmorized. I played mine to death.... Great call on those man. I would love to find one that works just to add to my collection.

Oh Big Czar just turned 37 a few months ago. Been gaming since commadore 64 and vectrex.

I had to show this thread to the Lady because for the past 5 years all she's been doing is asking me does anyone my age play video games that much.................

She read this thread and couldn't say another word all day about my Sports games.

The thread creator just bought me another 5 years of silence from her now

33 here. Been wondering the same thing..i think once you get over 30 you start questioning yourself..but my wife is not complaining..for now..lol

44 here. Those were the days. Dig Dug, Centipede/Millipede, Galaga... would take a few dollars and try to have it stretch the whole day. Wasn't much of an Atari 2600 fan but really got into it with Intellivision and Colecovision games
