so is this three point problem an Association thing? hmm doesnt really bother me much but sucks for the association guys....

mine is more of gameplay concern...does the turbo work? i found that it was broken from the last patch...i would press turbo and the guy wouldn't go to turbo animation mode instead he would just dribble the ball up normally...

I do feel bad for those guys.

But my turbo works fine.

i've seen david lee jacked up 2 3pointers in my player mode. also a couple of 18-20 footers. if he's open he's gonna throw..

also eddie curry from around 18-20..

That stupid bug with made dunks not counting is back. I threw a alley-oop from AI to Dalembert and he dunked it, but it went straight thru the rim, bounced hard on the floor, and rolled straight outta bounce. They called it a turnover and it never counted.

For what I red here and in 2k forum,the big men become Reggie Miller in Association Mode(simmed game and played game) and My Player.
For sure guys you have to delete your asso. and my player that you have i progress and start a new one.
Also settings and profile could give problems to the game.

so the 3pt big man shot is in my player as well? damn that sucks...i dont play association but my player i do...

Deleting the cache wille erase both patches. I really don't think there is a way to revert back to the previous patch once you update to the most recent one.

I see that some people are reporting that sim stats are still off even when turning off team chemistry. For those people, did you do this to an existing Association or start a new one?

I found that if you turn off Team Chemistry and start a new association, there are no problems with big men taking too many threes in sim stats. Actually, now that I think about it I turned off Player Roles in my tests as well (I did it automatically because I always turn off that feature). Maybe that has something to do with it? I guess I broke the golden rules of the scientific method by altering two variables at a time.

I might post some screen shots or do a video tonight to show you 360 guys who can't test this yourselves yet what I'm seeing.

again thanks. did you try turning just chemistry off separately and getting a good outcome? ideally, if i had to do this, i'd just turn chemistry off but keep roles to at least keep something.

No way am I deleting my association and starting over. I put a lot of work in that baby.

Hopefully it's just a PS3 thing (even though I hate to say that). I'll just wait until the 360 patch impressions.

I am absolutely, positively not downloading this patch for 360 unless i hear more positive feedback than negative once it's released.

If it fixes online, leave it be, you guys that don't play online don't have to download the patch.

We've been waiting for 2K to fix their online since October and if this patch gets pulled, it will never be fixed.

Screw that man if it fixes online leagues and user vs user matches bring that patch on. If assoication is a problem play online leagues where real players aren't shooting 3's with Centers. Patch helped defense which is good enough for me.

Wow....thats crazy...I haven't been able to play online leagues. I really think people should look into deleting everything. Pulling the patch won't solve anything and all that work...to pull it just like that would be a waste time and money.

The 3pt glitch totally ruins the game for me, I am not downloading it unless they fix it.

It's really sad, man, they already released 3 patches (Day one patch, November patch, January patch) and a lot of issues are still there while new ones appear. Sad.

Biggest whiners ever... man. I know the game should work correctly right out of the box, but seriously... Saying they need to pull the whole patch because it fixes tons of things but contains a small issue when association is played with team chemistry and roles turned on that has centers take a few 3 pt shots a game... haha. Ridiculous.

I know everyone is stuck to there opinion...or has a right to their opinion. But god almight...Has video gaming come to this. People see no positives in a game to play it. Granted it the 3 pointers by big men is a problem don't get me wrong (A huge problem for offline- vs CPU users). But damn the gameplay is just down right beautiful. 2k has made HUGE strides from 2k9 (cheese party). user vs user is close to perfect (in my opinion). Makes me feel bad when people are so negative. Thats not to say the guy I quoted is being neative it just sucks. No one see any positives here.
