Dont mean to go off-topic here, but i just wanna let the 360 users know this piece of info........


A Mod on the 2K forums actually said that the patch size exceeded Microsoft's file limitations.....so they had to send the patch back to revise it. I think this was done around the same time the PS3 patch was released.

But Microsoft currently has the revised patch and according to the Mod, it should be released very soon.

Be patient. There's a chance they've done testing and won't pass it due to the issues the patch is creating.

I was the moderator who gave the information, and the reaction from people (especially on our boards) is why we don't provide the information that many people want. People want 2K to give them information, and when they do, people take that information and then go nuts with it like immature children.

Anyways, the patch has been in Microsoft's hands for a while. The patch was resubmitted before the start of January. Microsoft takes longer to approve patches than Sony does. The patch for both systems are exactly the same. The MS patch was completed and submitted first, and then it was returned, and both patches were submitted at the near same time (in fact, the resubmitted patch went to MS first). 2K attempts to provide MS earlier so that both patches will release around the same time, but since the MS patch had to be resubmitted (though still before Sony), the PS3 received their patch first.

No one knows when MS will upload the patch.

No one knows when MS will upload the patch.

PC patches? No info on that and that has nothing to do with Microsoft. Patiently waiting on this....for three months.

sleepy, any idea if the re-submitted patch fixed any issues that were found by the PS3 guys like the bigmen 3 pt. shooting tendency glitch?

The second patch definitely increased the chance of CPU passing out of a shot, but this one is ridiculous: Anthony Parker posts up, turns around and goes up for the fadeaway...

..and then comes down to set LBJ up for an open look:

He said the resubmitted patch went to MS before the patch was submitted to sony, so nothing would be changed.

i think he's referring to the issue that the patch created where it actually makes this problem very regular where bigmen are shooting 3s and long 2s when you play and sim.

Does anyone else find it weird that 2K somehow didn't know the file size limit that Microsoft has for patches? That seems like a really stupid reason to have to resubmit a patch.
