Anybody Else Play Without Any Patches?

My internet has been down since the game came out so I play without a patch and think the game is still very good with some good sliders, playbook adjustments and coaching profile changes........I don't even have the rosters off of here like I normally always do.....I just think its a great game regardless.....Not really having any problems with glitches or anything else.....

I rather play with no patches only problem is frezzing but thats if i play a whole 12 minute quarters game.

I've really been giving this some thought, since i don't play online, and i already am midway into my association....is there really a big difference in the game play?? really if there's not that much difference i assume play w/out them...when does it freeze i never experienced that when i first bought the game?

i think the biggest issue with no patches is probably the frame rate. not sure if i'd prefer the frame rate issues over the big man 3pt glitch in patch 2 though. ideally, youve downloaded patch 1 and avoided patch 2, because patch 1 actually did make the game significantly better.

I haven't downloaded any patch - I heard it screws up the draft classes. I just work around the game's flaws.

i was extremely dissapointed with the game before patch 1.
the lack of contact and interior D was a game killer for me.
i havent dloaded patch 2 and see no reason to considering it opens up a can of worms [from what ive read].patch 1 has the game playing great.

I couldn't agree more, and it took me a week to give in and download the second patch. The second patch + yellz's sliders makes the game play even better than the first patch. But then again, I never play association mode.

I love the game even more post patch 2. I love the flow of the game, and the new contact animations.
