I want some more realistic relationships between teams and players. Certain cities/teams should be more attractive to certain types of players than others. Games later in the season should mean more than others. More personalization for each player, ie Kobe does one thing a certain way in terms of contracts and LeBron does something else and Grant Hill or Vince Carter do things differently. Not just based on their "attitudes" or whatever like it is now, but based on their careers; Kobe will stay a Laker and won't get traded, Vince could be traded but some GMs might not take the chance, Grant Hill will accept a lower wage from better teams, LeBron will be torn between big cities/loyality, etc.
Players should be given a rating of 1-99 based on marketability, which could effect their trade value as well as their decision signing with teams. Yao Ming's market would be 99 based on China, as would LeBron and Kobe based on them being the L's biggest stars. Someone like Matt Barnes would be much lower and essentially a non-factor in trades.
Etc.

) these numbers can be accurate or completely off, which would lead to some busts and some surprise stars.
