My list:
-Trying to set up an offense by calling plays, only to see those plays autobreak, despite being executed exactly as diagrammed, resulting in a wasted possession.
-Pushing down on my controller, only to watch my player go up.
-Feeding players in the post, and doing certain controls to do specific moves, only to watch my post players do a completely different move, resulting in a turnover.
-Watching CPU controlled PG's and 2 guards dunk through the lane when it's being contested by Dwight Howard, Marcin Gortat, and <insert 3rd player over 6' 9" here>
-Watching CPU controlled players hit nothing but net from areas where they have zero shooting bars (I.E.: Centers hitting nothing but net on 3 point attempts)
-Taking Vince Carter in for an uncontested layup, only to watch him miss it, despite being "on fire"
-Completely unbalanced turnover #'s (talking 11-3 in favor of the CPU) caused largely in part by CPU controlled defenders being able to pick the pocket of any user controlled ball handler at will.Comment

The hokey pokey with the officals
Layup animatioins
Post players and there finnesse conact shots.
Lack of proper post shots by post players. (Hooks, fallaways, roll shots, up-under,step through. dropstep, Baseline spin one dribble reverse flush Ala Amare'.. Face up jab and pop KG, Dwight howard faceup one dribble toward middle paint and hook)
Drive and kick pass outs that sail into 1st deck seats.
Pass-outs from CPU in mid freakin shot on the money with three ppl contesting his shot (the pass needs to be weak, inaccurate, and most likely deflected)
Quick bounce by post players to block quick layups and close inside shots
(reason scoring inside is so dang easy)
Player Movement its self.
CPU percentage of odd too high, all loose balls calls
How the CPU draws heavy contact on all my post shots but i get a foul when i draw heavy contact

Another one is the way substitutions are handled in My Player. I've literally been subbed in, play one offensive possession, play a possession or two, then subbed out...then subbed back in :44 later. I'm no hockey player or fan, but I'd imagine that's what a line substitution is like.
And it gets even more ridiculous when they put my 42 overall center self in with the game on the line in the 4th quarter, and sit Emeka Okafor, which is probably hilarious to anyone that follows the Hornets and actually knows how soft, though somewhat productive he is.
I also can't stand it when AI decides to guard my man like I haven't picked him up in transition, often leaving his real man wide open for the layup/dunk.Comment

Honestly what makes me want to throw my controller is how much points you can score in the paint. I'm playing Team Up the poing guard comes towards the center h just passes to it to him and automatic dunk or layup then sometimes if he miss some one grabs rebound with like everyone in the paint and puts it up easily. Its just to easy to get the ball in the paint and score and i hate it.Comment

And in regards to the conversation earlier in the thread about turnovers - I really don't want to hear about how this game needs -more- turnovers.
I am really sick and tired of everytime I pass the ball to anyone, the CPU jumps into the passing lane and steals the pass, or when I stop my PG to call a play, the CPU defender picks my pocket and takes it upcourt for an uncontested dunk, or everytime I pump fake, the CPU defender swats the ball out of my hands for a steal. I'm tired of DOUBLING UP turnover #'s compared to the CPU -EVERY SINGLE GAME- I play. 13 - 4 in favor of the CPU just on steals alone, 14-7 turnovers. That means all but ONE of my turnovers was the CPU pickpocketing me or stealing a pass. F'ing ********.
Oh, and for the record, why did I just get done playing an Association game where I shot 2 free throws, and the CPU shot 18?!! How come everytime I drive to the lane, I get that stupid suction, double pump with my left hand animation, and everytime the CPU drives to the lane, it's "and 1"?
That kind of thing is just utterly unacceptable. And I shouldn't have to toy with sliders to get that right.Comment

This isnt Madden 2005 where the CPU steals passes that they shouldnt even see. Any pass stolen in 2k10 should be stolen. There are a lot of passes that should be stolen that arent. There is no reason that the turnovers should be that lopsided with you and the CPU unless you are really use to 2k9.Comment

Oh and another thing - in my franchise mode, why am I having 3's rained on me by Shaq, Kendrick Perkins, Andris Beidrins, Michael Beasly, and basically every other center in the game?
This game is ridiculous. It's seriously not even enjoyable to me anymore. There is no fun left in this game anymore, the mechanics are borderline autrocious, and the CPU ai is just stupid ridiculous. I hate to sound like a whiner, especially since I have been the BIGGEST 2K fanboy for YEARS, whether it be football or basketball, but something is seriously wrong when I can't make an uncontested layup with Vince Carter, but Kendrick Perkins is dropping 3's on my head.Comment

Turn off player roles, turn off team chemistry. You may have to restart your assoc all together, sorry.

The difficulty.. no matter if i play a whole season with a friend of mine, or play the "my player"-mode on my own.. the AI is awful after you've played the game for about 2-3 months and it's too predictable..
Gimme a better AI (better understanding of the game, less mistakes in my player mode, ...) and I'm already pretty satisfiedComment
