I'd have to say Allen should be on the West team, since his best years were in Seattle.

and I think Marbury should be on one of those teams. (Maybe on the West ahead of Tony Parker).

I could see making a case for McGrady to be on the East, since he played there from 2000 - 2004, and was better in his 5 years in the East than he was in his years in the West. but either way, he should make it.

What about Jerry Stackhouse? From 2000 - 2004, in the east, he averaged over 20 points per game, with a season of 29.4. Throw him on the East instead of Allen, and put Allen on the West.

and also, Jermaine O'Neal should certainly be on the East team. Take off Arenas. I'd say he isn't at the same level as the rest of the guys listed.

and with Antawn Jamison, I agree he should be on ONE of these teams, but which one? He won a 6th man of the year in Dallas. And put up big numbers in Golden State. But, his best career years came in Washington.

EDIT: forgot about this guy, but how about move Jamison to the West, and add Antonio Davis to the East? do you guys think he's worthy? He was really good from 2000-2004 in Indiana and Toronto, and made an All-Star game in 2001 with Toronto.
The reason I said I would put Dwight Howard over Ben Wallace is because he can do almost exactly what Wallace is doing on defense and is a more of a threat on the offensive end than him. He might not have the best post moves to become a legit offensive center, but with the guys on this team he wouldn't have to worry about that. Plus, he is taller than Ben and length is very underrated.

I just think it's enough for him to be in that team, thats my opinion.
but does this season count for him? or do you do 2000-2009 the decade? because if you do, then this defensive player of the year award shouldn't count as this decade.

and the reason I put Wallace over Howard, is because he did it for a longer period of time. Howard has put up good numbers, but only for, what? 5 years now? Wallace did it for 6 or 7.

I still think d12 should be in the team but I didn't say he should be a starter
        instead of ben.

I agree with most of your picks, including Ben Wallace. Kevin Garnett is no SF, though (except on All-Star teams with Tim Duncan at the PF... so maybe, but not usually).

I agree with Wallace startin over Howard, he was a defensive powerhouse on a team that won titles with defense so he was a big part of it.

Only snub I see is no Steve Francis for the west, ya after he went to New york he kinda disapeared, but after he won co rookie of the year with brand he tore it up for the 6-7 years after.

Rather he make it than bosh nd im a raptors fan haha

perhaps rasheed wallace than should be considered for the east, and tony parker really doesn't deserve to be on the list.. plus i think pierce should start over lebron

So are guys like David Robinson anywhere in the game? Or older players especially like Oscar Robertson?

Hold the phones!?! how could you not have Antoine Walker over Antawn Jamison? Walker was a three-time All-star with the Celtics... just my thoughts!

How could you possibly have Elton Brand over Chris Webber?!? That certainly makes NOOOOOOOO sense at all, bro.

I just wanted to write that, I would put C-Webb over Brand and Marion easily.
