It's just a thought, I know their will be alot to go through to actually get this, but its worth a shot. (2K better give me credit for this if it goes through.)

Well, since we all know that the greatest player in the NBA, indisputably, is on the cover of NBA 2K11 and we are all going to ask for things like classic arenas, uniforms, teams, shoes, gear, etc., we also need to ask for this: NBA on NBC! Starting up a game, you hear that classic theme song (Roundball Rock - John Tess) starting off and you see the NBC peacock and hearing Bob Costas calling the game, you will definitely feel like you just jumped back into the 90s in preparation to watch another classic basketball game witnessed in front of your very eyes. If you want NBA on NBC in NBA 2K11, sign this thread.

Would like to see all conf finals match ups in the game for the 60 years in the game give us the court and the unis and arena if something genric and well can make the players..."Never say never, because limits are like fears and they are often just an illusion."-M.J.Comment

Re: Please Sign for Authenticity
Do old arenas really matter at all? Just dress any random arena with older NBA ads and whatnot and you couldn't tell the difference in-game.
As long as the bugs and absurd choices decided on (Like how badly they crapped the bed with the My Player mode) are fixed, anything else is just a bonus.
Although getting rights to former players, coaches, etc is a great step forward. I hope that the contracts signed are multi-year or indefinite deals.Comment

Re: Please Sign for Authenticity
I made the forum and the boston garden for nba live on PC to play with the 80's verison of the lakers and celtics and it gives it a greater feel.

No NBA on NBC for me. Good times, but it's not today. I like the music that the 2K audio team composed for the game. It feels realistic and modern for the game.Comment

Re: Please Sign for Authenticity
I'd actually stay away from the big network licenses. The last time 2K had the ESPN license it gradually made the game horrible. The game that was called ESPN NBA (and 2K4 in small letters on the box), was the WORST in the series.
Personally, I couldn't care less about real network license. 2K's been doing GREAT job with NO license.
And I also can't stand Marv Albert's voice. Would turn the commentary off if I heard his voice on a video game.My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
