Yeah, I'm pretty sure MJ was the first one to make a ritual out of the calk toss. Always innovative, Michael Jordan.
One more thing that MJ used to do before games: He used to bent down to his shoes, touching them around with his hands. And he usually stood by the midcourt line - just before the tipoff. My Specs:

Re: Attention to detail in Jordan Challenge (Big Pics inside)
From what we have heard so far and after seeing some gameplay footage, at this point the only thing I really hope they address is shorts length... ie 3 lengths 80s shorter tight shorts, 90s slightly longer baggier shorts, and current long shorts. As well as some era specific shoes don't wanna see the 86 Celtics running around in some generics or some Nikes. The converse All Stars used to be in the game bring them back. Aside from that maybe some signature Dennis Rodman antics.....
I would be absolutely blown away if they had him taking his shirt off and throwing it in the crowd at the end of games lol. But seriously I'm hoping they take Rodman's personality on the court into account. As well as his rebounding ability. And also hoping Scottie Pippen gets hooked up with his own signature jumpers as well as his own dunk and lay up packages. Never liked that Scottie had a generic jumper and dunk package last year.Last edited by LeBronistheKing; 08-21-2010, 12:07 PM.Comment

I'm not sure LJ was ever a rookie. He sure got a paycheck of a 8-year veteran. He might be the one to blame for today's salaries. My Specs:

Re: Attention to detail in Jordan Challenge (Big Pics inside)
This is from my thread I started about Rodman but it belongs in here hopefully Mike Wang sees it...
The other big signature style that Dennis was perhaps known most for was his hair. I remember an old NBA video game back in the day that had Dennis with different color hair each time you played. While I certainly don't expect that I do hope they have Dennis's player model accurate to the corresponding games in "The Jordan Challenge" mode. For example.........
1996 Finals vs the Seattle Supersonics
1997 Finals vs the Utah Jazz
1998 Finals vs the Utah Jazz
