Re: Attention to detail in Jordan Challenge (Big Pics inside)
2K should also get the lettering right for the retro an early 90's Bulls jerseys.
For the 1986 playoffs vs Celtics, 1990 vs Dominique Wilkins, 1990 Bad Boys, 1991 NBA Finals and 1992 NBA Finals challenges the jerseys should have this type of font/lettering:
White for away:
Red for home:

It's not just the accessories...those might be editable anyway...it's the players likenesses to each year that is important.Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.Comment

Also, the Bulls wore black socks and shoes in the playoffs from 1996 and on. Before that, they wore black shoes with white socks from the 1989 playoffs until 1995 playoffs.
I'm also pretty sure that in 1996 or 1997 other players on the team wore Air Jordans. Maybe Harper? My Specs:

Yep. Already posted the corresponding shoes and socks according to the era on the first post. Others players wearing the Jordans in the playoffs was in 1996 I believe. Ron Harper, James Edwards and Randy Brown come to mind.

Re: Attention to detail in Jordan Challenge (Big Pics inside)
If 2K doesn't get the shoes of everybody who is currently playing accurate, I don't think they're gonna look up who wore what shoe for a lot of these historic teams.
I want it too man--believe me. But they're not gonna get everybody's shoe and facial hair accurate when they haven't done it before. We got Jordan and some historic teams with hopefully improved gameplay; let's not be too demanding.Comment

Like I said before the accessories is something that can be dealt with, since they can be edited...but faces Yes... I don't think it's too demanding to ask for accurate likenesses foe each year just like Jordan. It would feel just weird to play the bad boys, cleveland or hawks in 1990 with Horace Grant wearing goggles, for example, that's my point...the same way it would be awkward playing the 91 finals against Magic with a goatee or Pippen having the same hairstyle in 96 as in 92.
If 2k made 2 faces for the legends in previous games (80's and 90's) I don't see a problem dropping and extra one or two for players who deserve it according to the year.

Re: Attention to detail in Jordan Challenge (Big Pics inside)
That's true. I would not be able to tell anyone what color sweat band he was rocking in '88 yet somehow, I notice and truly appreciate when a game's art department makes that kind of devotion to detail. There was at least one 2K (I believe 2004 of all years) that featured a "current" Shaquille O'Neal and Shawn Kemp as well as a skinnier Kemp and Shaq (with hair) on the all 90's squad. I always thought it was cool they made that differentation. The varied details on each Bulls team is what will help distinguish one squad from another.
But detail as far as mustaches, arm and sweatband colors, I've never understood the obsession with that, as probably only 10% of fans pay attention to that stuff, and that's being generous.
Different appearances/faces I guess would be cool, but on a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 4 as far as importance in my view.Comment

Re: Attention to detail in Jordan Challenge (Big Pics inside)
Well I think it is important for some players, like the ones I've mentioned, to differentiate with at least 2/3 faces assigned to them according to the era/year. It adds o the realism and fun factor of the Jordan Challenge mode.
2K has all the technology and it's not that hard for them, believe me.Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.Comment

Re: Attention to detail in Jordan Challenge (Big Pics inside)
I believe they still do that, as well as there being 2 different Dr J's (w/ fro in 70s, no fro in 80s), and Kidd in 90s also is different from current Kidd.

I think we all know none of this stuff is gamebreaking material, but why not throw out some guidance for accuracy? I can't picture adjusting some small details (changing a goatee into a mustache for example) being too time consuming. Why not, eh?Comment
