Talking about gear. I really hope these AJs make it into the game. MJ wore them the first half of the 1991-92 season alongside the ones with red.

Yeah, but he never wore these specific colors, right? It was red-black-white.

Yes he did, although only for a few games.

I remember him wearing them in the first-half of the Suns @ Bulls in 1992. After half-time, he changed shoes and laced up the red-black-white ones.

            ^^ Man, you're good!!!

And did you see where MJ jumped off for the 2nd dunk? It was like the corner of the paint, it's pretty much like a FT dunk from the middle. WOW!

I love and miss those kind of intros. I remember in the '91 season, the Lakers played the Bulls in Chicago on TNT. They showed Magic highlights to music ("It's a kind of magic...it's a kind of magic...a kind of magic"). Then a rock song came on with MJ highlights ("Superman...Superman...I wanna be like Superman"). Then that famous TNT music came on, and IIRC the announcer said, "Welcome to the madhouse on Madison!"

              I miss those days.

My favorite are TNT's intros, the ones where every player is dribbling/shooting and his city's in the background. I think it was in 1990 and 1991. That "NBA Extra" stuff. That was good!

It can't get any better than this...

That was an awesome game...I have it on DVD. The last too MJ dunks were something else ("Poster...boom! This place is going crazy Red...") and the Suns were an awesome team to watch too with KJ, Hornacek, Majerle and Chambers. They had a great coach in Cotton Fitzsimmons (RIP) also.

Yeah I totally get you. Those were the days were you waited for Tuesday or Friday night basketball and really got excited just for tuning into them on TV.

That's why I wanted 2K to add these kind of intros to the Jordan Challenges, to get you in the mood. But since they don't have a network license it can be a problem.

Maybe they have something special awaiting for us (or maybe not)...maybe something with video footage like 2k9

I wish we could edit player's hair so I could put an afro on Kobe lmao. Then again people would be doing some crazy sh** on the game.
