They sold like hotcakes. They were the most popular colorway amongst consumers at that time. Original J One's in that colorway, produced in the 80's (in good condition) are indeed a little rare nowadays. I'm not sure anyone knew how big the Jordan line would eventually become.

One of the most interesting things is how poorly the "retroed" versions sold in 1994. I remember seeing them in my Eastbay catalog and wanting to get them but never following through (they even ended up being sold at reduced prices). Less than ten years later, retro J's were a knock out hit.

I really hope they get Karl Malone's and Clyde Drexler's skin complexion right, since they have always made them too light. Also they've made MJ too light in the first preview video.

Just place your game next to a window, and after several sunny days you'll get them all tanned.

This year with Jordan being involved so heavily I hope they include the tounge animation. It's definitely signature to being "like Mike".

How dare you say about MJ's legs that they're generic?

                Just joking

                    Another one...

Since the 96,97, and 98 Bulls are all included in the game. I think it is logical to assume that Dennis Rodman will be featured in NBA 2K11 also he has been playable for the past two NBA 2k games.

So having said that being that 2K is the innovater of signature styles (sig layups, sig dunks, sig fade aways, sig shots etc) However none of these really apply in this case. Dennis Rodman had one very important signature and that was signature rebounds. Nobody grabbed boards like Dennis whether it was volleyball tapping it to himself and outhustling everyone else, or the way he just went up and grabbed and secured a rebound in the air. For example......

It would be spectacular and add that much more realism to the gameplay if signature rebound animations were added to Rodman in the game.

^^ This would be a great addition.

And if 2K decides to release a gymnastics video game some day, they'll be able to use Rodman's moves.

The Lakers knee braces and knee pads should be light blue and not yellow or purple.

Is it me, or his right knee pad seems purple? Is it lighting? And is it Adidas he's wearing?

It's the lighting. I think Worthy wore Converse the majority of his career, but could have switched to acsis or adidas later on.

memories!!! My first pair of Jordans. Forutnately grabbed two pair and still have one (in box!) in my Jordan closet. They were not really that rare.....just not anywhere near as large of a deal as present day.
