Re: NBA 2K11 Developer Insights: Enhanced Control
Very vague. But I will trust 2k did make improvements on the controls.
They did mention transistion game is smarter! I sure hope so. The issue with bigs not running past the 3pt line kept 2k10 from being **** for me. Along with the horrible playbooks that is.
I feel like this is the gaming golden age. 2k putting out a game on the PC!!!! That was the greatest thing ever!
October 5th is a vacation day.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Developer Insights: Enhanced Control
Yeah that was a pretty vague insight but nice little info, can't wait for this game. Oct 6 will be my Vacation Day, sometimes im not able to get games till around 12 or so here and half of the day is wasted. I will get it on the 5th, play late..wake up on the 6th and play most if not all day.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment

Re: NBA 2K11 Developer Insights: Enhanced Control
I'm really hoping they have options for players on certain plays.
For example, the Celtics.
Ray Allen usually has his teammate set a screen near the wing, and if the defender goes under the screen Ray will come towards the center of the court (above the screen) for the open 3.
If the defender shoots the passing lane to deny the wing 3, Ray will drift to the corner for the 3. I play as Boston, but I'm sure every team has a similar thing for their perimeter shootersComment

Re: NBA 2K11 Developer Insights: Enhanced Control
Good information but I'd rather see it than read about it. The screen shots also provide no satisfaction, the info is vague and the timing on insights remains TBD/random. Is it really so early that they can't go more in-depth?
I guess the Jordan info is a tough act to follow. Perhaps I was expecting too much.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Developer Insights: Enhanced Control
I just think that the IGN preview had much more detailed info than what Ron posted ... I even agree that this could be one of the shortest and more vague insights I have red, if not the most ... but then again, anything that comes right after the Jordan challenge and classic teams announcements will pale in comparation ... anyways, this wont prevent me from being as hype as ever ... even more, as now I know that MW will have his say in a more indepth insight.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Developer Insights: Enhanced Control
They are going to have around 10-12 things from different people on the development team. You will get in depth stuff, its just starting really. To be honest this is more exciting to me then Michael Jordan being in the game. Was never a MJ fan to begin with.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Developer Insights: Enhanced Control
mein all that wait to c what was in the insight for this week to be disapointed by the lack of emphasis on any real enhanced control.Ign preview was more informal than rob jones was.but overall he did mention that Mike Wang would expand further on the areas mentioned in the insight.nevertheless they still have my attention and i am still on the band wagon to a first day released purchaseHumans fear what they dont understand, hate what they cant concur i guess its just the theory of manComment

Re: NBA 2K11 Developer Insights: Enhanced Control
Yeah, I anticipate more in-depth stuff as the weeks pass. They are habitually tight-lipped about the game from year to year... I guess its just gotten a bit old to me. Nevertheless, its more my impatience than anything else. The info revealed thusfar is very promising, which to me excites me more about the Jordan/old school implementation. It just would be real cool to me if they *showed what they are talking about through video as opposed to just talking about it, especially as it pertains to the new control scheme. There's time though.Last edited by eko718; 07-30-2010, 08:19 PM.Comment
