what my player mode improvements do you speak of?

Unless I missed it the previews mostly focus on gameplay.

Nothing has been said in any previews about My Player yet, but Ronnie did say this on his twitter:

If they incorporate more realistic coaching AI so that you don't play against a full court press the entire game you're winning big, don't see ridiculous lineups like a 6'4" SG being played at PF, PGs like CP3 having ridiculous backcourt violations when the defender isn't even close to him, don't penalize your calling for the ball when you're wide open, and don't give the CPU unlimited timeouts...I'm all game.

I'm sure other sorts of improvements are in store for the game as well.

I agree, the coaching AI is HORRIBLE!!!!!!
