I always get both versions...one for online the other for accuracy fixes

They said they built a whole new engine to improve online servers.

its funny how most of the people are 2k fanboys on here and they get excited about a gameplay mode, when 2k has released nothing about gameplay improvements nor them fixing the online servers.. This is coming from a guy that plays both games but mostly 2k, so i know many of 2ks flaws.. for example getting stuck in animations, that just cost me a game in nba 2k10 last night because i got stuck in an animation and went back court. Its hard as hell to get into an online game, i mean those should be the first things you fix or want to announce. I mean yea its jordan thats cool and all, but these features dont interest me, seeing that jordan isnt a player now. I want the game to have the best of the players of today thats just me though. I mean Elite is stepping up with the controls of the game and giving you even more control over your player... if 2k could somehow keep the game the way it looks now, but also give you more control then i would be excited... Also if 2k came up with a new dribbling scheme i would be excited because 2ks current dribbling scheme is inot user friendly at all its actually a pain in the neck but thats just me

Beluba, I have a suggestion...

If there were also an option for a fantasy draft of old school guys/legends and generic players, this mode would be alot more intriguing I think. I kinda don't like the idea of the best cats being gone(Lebron, Kobe) by the time Mike reaches his level and I guess I don't like the idea of him being in the modern NBA in general. An old school fantasy draft would be hot.

We're sorry that we might enjoy 2k this year

We're sorry that they released some information today

and most of all, we're sorry that you decided to call everyone fanboys and say there is no information on gameplay fixes when they've been releasing blogs of information for weeks now.

Please comb through and read before making comments like this towards the posters on the site.

I am COMPLETELY pumped about the two game modes for Jordan. Playing through his old career in the 80's and 90's sold me, but being able to make him a NEW career made me overjoyed. It'll be fun to put him on HIS bobcats team and build the franchise and let him play against Kobe, or put him on the Lakers and play alongside him. I know some gameplay improvements have been announced and I'm excited about that as well. Only thing I am wishing for now is improvements to franchise and My Player mode. It's already a first day buy but if those two things are improved as well, it would just about bankrupt EA's basketball series. Here's to hoping those 2 things are improved, as well as there being a 2K college game again soon!

At its essence yes, but My Player is about working your way into the NBA, starting from the ground up as a nobody and making a name. This mode is about taking a legend and changing the course of history with an exceptional athlete in a new era.

It's a close-up screenshot, so it's hard to tell how it's gonna look in the game. Plus, it's 2 months until release, so it's just from the build they're done with right now.
