nice. but the real question is whether they'll change it once the 12 year-olds start complaining...

I hope not, they should have just made the casual option available. Maybe give guys a separate record on each of the gamestyles.

I'm not going to hate on 12 year olds or 14 year olds that just want to enjoy the game. Game is rated E, so they should enjoy it as well.

Not sure if someone mentioned it, but in a way this makes me skeptical about how sim simulation mode is. Only because if anyone has played online they'd notice most online players are arcade style and 2k can't alienate all of them. I hope sim mode isn't essentially the default that 2k10 was and arcade is even looser than that

I'm not sure. Maybe it means that if you play 5-min quarters you get the right stats for that, rather than getting 8-min quarter stats.
