A little concern on my side have been the fast breaks. It was almost impossible fopr me to run a decent one. Maybe practicing I guess.

Re: NBA 2K11 Video: From the Demo at Gamescom
Its only easy on one side of the ball though. Its like the opposite of Backbreaker. Really I think its deeper than that. Its just the paint defense. The CPU is decent or good in every aspect except the defense in the paint and the shooting percentages are high there too.Comment

Wow. Dude on the sticks does NOT know what he's doing. At least we know full well what the fake pass looks like. Wonder if you can pull it off while running at full speed without coming to a stop. Like maybe if you do it and don't shoot or pass for real, you get a travel.
I saw D-Wade drift to the right on a shot he clanked. Momentum shots are officially in (for me, someone saying they're in is meaningless until I see it). Looks great. Hope it feels great when you pull it off. Also, I like the bounce Bosh did before throwing it down with both hands. Very nice.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Video: From the Demo at Gamescom
one guy did like 10 of them in a row in one possession. lol. Yeah, you can pass fake on the move.
Sorry, should clarify. If you press the pass fake button, you will always come to a stop. There are fake pass layups, but not everyone has them.Last edited by Beluba; 08-19-2010, 05:12 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Video: From the Demo at Gamescom
Am I the only one noticing they have those different type of jumpers from the other game now? I've been asking for this for a while..good to see. Its the one thing from Live I really wanted in 2k. These videos are getting better and better.."I'm so far ahead of my time, I'm bout to start another life
Look behind you, I'm bout to pass you twice
Back to the future and gotta slow up for the present
I'm fast, dudes can't get past my past
How they supposed to deal with my perfect present?"Comment

For me, that was the BEST part of the game. Momentum shots in all directions looked and felt awesome. better than the regular jumpers which didnt feel as smooth tbhComment

Darn. No cheerleader babes. And there was some article a while back that said the cheerleaders actually look better this year. I think it was IGN.Comment

Good to hear. We've found with everyone who's tried the game this year that it really starts to open up and become more enjoyable to them as they begin to understand the new controls and nuances of the game. There actually is a bit of a learning curve this year coming from 2K10 as a lot has been added in terms of control. Glad people were able to pick it up and play and have a good time right away.Comment

You know, just have to throw this out there since a few of you guys can't put two and two together:
When 2k released their demo last year of 2k10, did it compare to the full game? NO. There was no NBA Today to give the game life. Those who really played the game know how big a piece o the puzzle that was.Comment
