I have to agree the courts looks small even compare to 2k10. I wonder if they redid the player models w/o resizing the floor proportionally.

Re: New 2k11 vid
the dunkfest wouldve been a dead give away...lol
from the insight...
Casual: This is the setting you want if you like up and down play with lots of dunks and highlight moments. There won’t be a whole lot of stoppages and you’ll see higher scoring across the board. Arcade-style play is probably the best way to describe it.Comment

Re: New 2k11 vid
Don't even bother trying, the ****ing sky has fallen in some peoples mind. All over a two minute demo vid in which no one took a jumpshot, isomotion move, or attempted to work the ball around. Now Playing: FIFA 15, NBA2K15Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Video (most likely on casual-mode): From the Demo at Gamescom
Good. With all these complaints about court spacing(including me) this is still an issue. Along with the length/distance between the 3-point line and the halfcourt line being incorrect(should be 5 feet longer), it seems like the court spacing went back to 2K9 days.
2K10 actually wasn't too bad. Just needed to further expand it in 2K11. As well as make the player size smaller(especially big man as they were too bulky).Comment

Re: New 2k11 vid
As I said, if you read the Developer Insights, you'd clearly know.
Casual: This is the setting you want if you like up and down play with lots of dunks and highlight moments. There won’t be a whole lot of stoppages and you’ll see higher scoring across the board. Arcade-style play is probably the best way to describe it.
Simulation: Real life stats. This is my game style of choice. With 12-min. quarters, you will easily see NBA averages across your stat lines. Don’t expect anything easy in the paint, you’ll have to work a lot harder and execute good basketball strategy to be successful in Sim.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Video (most likely on casual-mode): From the Demo at Gamescom
Two things I noticed
1) Passing. The speed and manner in which they passed was remarkably better. Instead of overhead lob passes all the time.
2) Dribbling animations look smoother.
Gameplay and other things were pointless with DunkyJones playing the game.
But did you notice the automatic help in the paint? It was usually the closest guy in the paint (PG most of the time) but there was help by the nearest player. I guess that is what they meant by having the defensive rotations streamlined now.
Oct 5th....can't wait.Comment
