I use broadcast because I feel it gives me the most accurate look to real life as well as the animations look a little better to me.Live, Love, Learn

Never really had a "go to camera" so to speak, but recently I've been using skybox w/ Zoom: 10 Height: 10.Comment

Re: Poll: What camera do you use?
I've used 2k in the past, although i liked broadcast, because i felt that point of view suited the controls (or lack thereof) a little better. I also tend to feel like the game looks better (graphics wise) from the 2k view, as the players look pretty small from the default cam.Comment

Re: Poll: What camera do you use?
Broadcast.
For me, I haven't played basketball in a live, competitive setting since 5th or 6th grade. I'll play 21 with a group or whatever but my shot left me in middle school and never came back, and I honestly just don't have the drive to play a full court game and be a defender. I love to play defense, but it's just not in me energy wise. Too much marijuana I assume.
As a result, basketball for me translates best from a sideline perspective. I watched all my high school and college ball from the side, and obviously on TV we've got the Broadcast view all day every day (unless ESPN is feeling experimental that day).
So when I play 2K on 2K cam, which all my friends insist on using because they grew up on Madden (as did I, but I'm less stubborn I guess) and want to see the full court. And I understand that. But my defense is vastly improved from the broadcast view, whether that's anticipating passing lanes and cutting off cutters to the basket or finding angles to the hoop. When I play 2K, I basically am imagining that I'm watching the game on TV, and simply asking my players to do what I think I'd see them do on TV. Since that's my mindset, it's much easier to use Broadcast. Whenever I use 2K cam it's still a close game with my buddy though he usually ends up winning in the end. With Broadcast, it's a wash though - all wins, all day.
Plus, and this is the biggest of all, it just looks more "real" to me on Broadcast. Too many of the animations on the 2K cam feel like they're happening on a video game. The greatest feeling for me is having someone watch me play Broadcast and constantly comment how they feel like they're watching an actual game on ESPN.Comment

Boradcast. Been trying to use those 2K cameras for years (probably since Live '98), but other than in Live '99, I couldn't bring myself to keep it this way and always went back to broadcast. My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASICComment

Drive first, then 2k.Note to Tiburon Marketing:
A great product sells itself, no "back of the box" features required! (See Fifa...)

Re: Poll: What camera do you use?
2K or baseline cam can't stand those East/West cams. I like to be able to see the whole court, on the broadcast cams my view of the game is completely thrown off.

Lol I'm the complete opposite to you. All the things you struggle with on the 2K cam are the same pains I go through on the broadcast one.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

The one that's directly behind the ball carrier, I forgot what's it called, I can't play with anything else.I hate when people say "LOL" Ok you was just about to say what I said, it might have been funny to you but I know it didn't make you "LAUGH OUT LOUD". IDK maybe Im just sick of people using it at the end of EVERY sentence.Comment
